Something to think about when you are driving and texting...
This delicious salad has lots of fresh spinach, sliced strawberries and cucumber sprinkled with fetta cheese. A tangy dressing of olive oil, vinegar and mustard goes well with this salad.
Strawberries are rich in vitamins and minerals and are low in calories. Leafy greens like spinach provide more nutrients than any other food, when compared calorie for calorie. Fresh cucumbers are mostly made of water, but they still have a lot of nutrition. The flesh of cucumber is a very good source of vitamins A, C and folic acid
Consider what you must eat to receive an optimal amount of 400 IU of vitamin E, one of the most powerful oxidation defense agents for conquering free radicals: Food To obtain 400 IU Sunflower seeds 1.2 lbs. Wheat germ 5.2 lbs. Almonds 2.2 lbs. Safflower oil 1 quart Spinach 33 lbs. Are we using supplementation as a solution
Our cells are damaged by Free Radicals. A free radical is a molecule with unpaired electrons in its outer shell. It is highly reactive, and will “rob” a neighboring molecule of its electron, which in turn becomes a free radical – setting off a chain reaction of destruction.
Free radicals come not only from pollution and toxins from the outside, but are also generated by our cells during the process of burning food for energy. So there is no practical way of avoiding them.
What we need are Antioxidants to protect our cells. Antioxidants donate electrons to free radicals, but do not become free radicals as a result. Hence they stop the chain reaction of destruction.
We should get a significant amount of antioxidants from our food. The more the antioxidants in our body, the less damage free radicals cause.
Most degenerative diseases are preventable. First we must understand that these diseases are NOT an inevitable result of old age. “Old” does not equal “Sick” – not necessarily.
Almost all degenerative diseases result from cumulated damage to our cells. So, if we protect our cells from damage, we have the best chance to live a long healthy life.

Choose a Healthy Diet, Exercise and Tested and Rated Supplementation
The best diet in the healthy heart game is rich in fruit and vegetables...
Some fruit and vegetables are more critical when it comes to being a winner in the healthly heart game. Choose a variety of at least five servings of fruit and vegetables a day. Seven to nine servings is even better but don't go from one serving to nine servings at once. Gradually increase your consumption of fruit and vegetables.
Choose dark leafy greens, such as romaine lettuce, spinach, green leaf lettuce, mustard and collard greens.
Cruciferous vegetables are great winners in the healthy heart game. Cruciferous vegetables have it all: vitamins, fiber and disease fighting phytochemicals. It's best to lightly steam these vegetables or eat raw to retain the phytochemicals.
Also choose plenty of fresh cauliflower, kale and broccoli and cabbage. In addition foods such as bok choy and brussesl sprouts are great additions.
Now take a look at the best fruits for a healthy heart....eating citrus fruits such as lemons, limes, grapefruit and oranges make a great impact in the healthy heart game.
Learn more about nutritional supplements which have been independently tested and rated as the #1 supplements which may improve your heart health.
Unlike 100 years ago when infectious diseases dominate, degenerative diseases like cancer, heart disease or stroke are now the major problem of world health. Despite billions of dollars in global research, there remain no effective cure for most of the top killers.
Vitamin D also supports glucose control.
Crazy, right! Well it’s not if you’re aware of everything your heart does for you. Every day, the heart creates enough energy to drive a truck 20 miles, and if you spread that over a lifetime, that’s equivalent to driving to the moon and back.
