It’s an action-puzzle game, hope you folks like it!
So I had this idea of trying some 2-month collabs, both for fun, learning and also making some different things. These screenshots are from the first one - it didn’t go quite like I expected but still led to some progress and learning that should be useful in the future! Now let’s see how the next one goes.
I’m revamping some parts of the game, including the power-up shop (new one at the top, old one at the bottom). Not sure if finished yet but I’d say it looks much better!
So I brought these pongos back!
A mockup of a game I’d like to make, just for fun!

Fanart of a pongo by @pxloto !
A pongo lookind around before choosing a path!
Watch out for craws, they are fierce predators!
Here’s how the game is coming along!
I would show it dying on the spikes, but the gif doesn’t capture the sprite blinking very well.
Use two ice blocks at a time to direct your pongos toward the exit portal! I like the effects here =]
I think it looks charming so far =] LiceCap didn’t capture the screenshake (after the creature falls in the hole), so I tried editing the gif to add it. Subtle, though.
So, after a few game events and a trip to see some friends, I’m back. Also, some news.
I’ve worked for a week on a prototype of this really old idea I had. Everyone that played, including in events, seemed to have a lot of fun - some said that it was better than Ninjeten.
The reason that I made this prototype is because I came up with a really simple way to do it, especially with all the knowledge I got from developing those tactical games. Also, frankly, I believe this is not only a game I can finish faster, but a game that can give me better revenue. Ninjeten has other advantages, but right now a source of revenue would be really welcomed.
I didn’t like the idea to put another game on hold (at all), but after carefully analyzing the situation, I think it’s for the best.
But it’s not a grim announcement or anything - I’m actually really excited about this game! It’s a bit like lemmings, except you interact with the game by creating ice blocks. There’s many mechanics I’m really excited about!
Now the dialog baloons are a bit smarter and avoid the borders so they don’t get cut!
