♉: is my muse prone to jealousy?
Lily is actually a super chill person so not really. She trusts the people she loves and doesn’t see the point of being jealous of them if they feel the same way she does.
♓: my muse’s biggest secret
Though she may seem like a fairly confident girl on the outside, Lily is plagued with self doubt. She is constantly pushing herself to the limit in order to prove herself that she is just as intelligent and capable of being a witch as anybody else, no matter how ‘dirty’ her blood is.

“I prefer the term awkwardly adorable. Sorry to have barged in on you, Lils. I thought the room was empty.”
❝ Adorably awkward would be a tad more suitable in this situation. No need to apologize though, I should’ve known better than to use the first empty room I could find to listen to my records. You can have the room if you'd like. ❞
There is nothing wrong with relaxing on a banana chair, drinking orange juice and sunbaking.
❝ Definitely not, except it’s bloody freezing out here. ❞
I just heard a loud crash. Please tell me everyone is still in one piece.
❝ Haven’t seen anyone with a missing limb yet, so I think we’re good. It was probably just Peeves trying to be funny. ❞
“It’s alright. We can pretend I never saw whatever that was.”
❝ It’s called dancing, Gladys. And come on, it wasn’t that bad. ❞
James.
“Foolish head? Don’t you mean handsome?” Grinning at his own words, he eventually shook his head. “Okay, I’ll admit, some plans could’ve been more… thought out, but in my defense, I’ve gotten better.” A pause, “With behavior, not how clever my pranks are. Well, actually both. I still amaze myself — that’s beside the point.” On the point, however, people have to give him some credit. He has for the most part matured progressively as those seven years in question flew by. James was always arrogant, boastful, and proud; it was how he was raised, being pampered all the time. Of course, his parents still did an excellent job with him – he was, and will always be, grateful of them ( even if sometimes it didn’t appear that way to an outsider ). But overall aside from incidents of him hexing passing students, because he could, James was never really a bad guy. Just an arsehole with a heart of gold.
Once he heard Lily’s mention of the Marauders, however, his grin only grew. Those boys meant everything to him; how far they’ve all come, where they will go — friendships to take to the grave. “See, as much as I love the lads, I told myself while on ‘official head boy duty’, I won’t run like a deer to find them. Harder than it sounds, but I think I can manage.”
Though it felt wrong not to strike back with a hopefully smart comment, she knew the boy was right — partially, at least. As strange as it was for her to admit it, Lily had noticed the slightest change in James’ demeanor over the course of the last couple of months. The fact that he was no longer going around Hogwarts messing with students and being an all around p r a t simply for the fun of it certainly took her by surprise — and perhaps Lily may have found herself no longer dreading the time they’d have to spend together being Head Boy and Head Girl, though she would never acknowledge it out loud. Choosing not to stroke James’ already inflated ego, Lily settled for a simple reply of ❝ There’s always room for improvement, ❞ pointed with a shrug of her shoulders.
Her amusement is unmasked, head tilting ever so slightly as she listens to James’ words with a shy grin. ❝ You poor thing, I can only imagine how tough it must be for you to be away from your best mates for more than five minutes, ❞ the redhead said, voice overflowing with sarcasm, ❝ However, I would much appreciate if you actually focused on your ‘official Head Boy duties’ and started coming up with useful suggestions for once. ❞
James.
“C’mon, Tiger Lily,” A nickname all in good fun ( read: a stupid mannerism that James will never truly grow out of ), “Said that about e v e r y t h i n g so far — seven years now, you’d think you would let me have this once.”
Ignoring James' failed attempt to give her a nickname with an ever so elegant raise of an eyebrow, Lily's lips curved into a tiny smirk before she spoke. ❝ Seven years now, you’d think someone would be able to knock some sense into your foolish head. Aren’t you supposed to go to your dear marauders for the execution of idiotic ideas? ❞
Narcissa.
“I don’t think it sounds stupid, we could just stick with it.”
❝ You are aware that it could land us detention, aren’t you? ❞
❝ Or perhaps we could do anything else, because that sounds incredibly stupid. ❞
