ok, that’s it...

I’m finally throwing in the towel with my game. That means Liz and Lucian will most likely be lost and I won’t be able to continue writing their story. 

I’m starting over. It’s the only way I can see my game running properly ever again because it’s so buggered up right now that it crashes after ten minutes. I’ll be back when I can sort this out. I’m really sorry for abandoning L&L - if possible, I’ll salvage what I can and keep going with them. 

Until then, I have two drafts that I will publish and if I find any other old screen shots I post those too. Thanks guys and again, I’m sorry for coming back and leaving so many times lately.

“Don’t worry pumpkin,” I whisper to her. “I know we’ve gone through a lot of shit, but this is nothing compared to that, right?” I ask her in order to reassure and reconfirm that she’s feeling better about the situation. 

She nods slightly and then as if to seal the deal I pull her close to me, breathlessly I say to her, “...just tell me when you’ve had enough.” 

She looks up at my eyes with confusion, “What do you mean, sugar?” 

I furrow my brow and try to clear up her confusion, “Just say the word and I’ll send her packing.” 

“Oh,” she says releasing the breath she was holding onto, “I thought you meant...” She looks away embarrassed that she thought I’d ever suggest such a thing after all the fighting I’ve done to keep her. 

“No,” I say hushing her mind, “unless it’s what you really want...”

She looks down at my lips, her head still resting in my hands, “At this point, I think we’re stuck with one another, sugar.” She cracks a small smile, but I can see something else hidden in her eyes. “If that’s alright with you.” 

I wrap my arms around her waist and give her a tight hug, our heads rested together, “wouldn’t have it any other way, pumpkin.” I reply, then with a sudden burst of confidence I ask her, “will you do me the honor of marrying me?” 

“A thousand times yes.” She whispers sweetly into my ear.

After Lucian mentions his ex would be making a surprise visit... the next few days weren’t easy on him. He keeps his distance just enough to not set off any hidden resentment in Liz, but not far enough that she feels she has to worry. 

Liz quietly enters the main room of the cabin where Lucian plays some mindless video game, he looks over his shoulder from where he sits to see Liz aimlessly moping around. He presses the center button on his controller which prompts the option to save, load or exit his game. 

“What’s wrong, pumpkin?” Lucian asks rising to his feet and taking a few steps around the couch to be by her side. 

She doesn’t say anything at first whilst avoiding eye contact with Lucian, so he takes her hands in his and gently pulls them closer to his body. “Do you want to talk to me about it or is it nothing?” 

“Ah don’t really know, sugar,” She admits, “I’m just feeling off.” 

Lucian furrows his brow, keeping his eyes on Liz he lifts his chin slightly and sighs. “When did this start?” 

“Coulda been today or maybe this feelin’s been settlin’ on me for a while, I really can’t tell.” Liz replies looking off to the right as she shrugs her shoulder. 

“Is it the unexpected guest?” Lucian dives right into the obvious, “I know this isn’t fair to you and it’s probably eating you up just as it is me. Personally, I didn’t think Hana would ever be interested in digging up my number, let a lone try to contact me.”

Liz pouts slightly, “That didn’t help.” She says turning her pout into a half smile as she realizes she’s enjoying this slightly bratty side of her. Lucian then smiles back at her and gives a small chuckle as he realizes it too. 

“You’re a cheeky bugger, you know that Elizabeth.”
