Narmita adjusted the mask over her eyes. The warehouse she had been given the address for looked like it could collapse any second. Which meant, either this was a trap, or a cover. Nightingale was ready for both.
The bouquet in her hands felt like it weighed a ton—a lot of roses and periwinkles her neighbour sold to her for a day's work at the flower shop— as she waited for the woman to show up. Her eyes kept darting around the dark, musty walls, looking for signs of life she may have missed before.
"Hello?" Her voiced echoed though the pillars.
Vivian walked out of the warehouse, hands in her pocket. She smiled when she saw Narmita. "Hey, hope the place doesn't scare you."
