I was so fed up with school because it seemed like my best was not even enough. I gave it my all and I still received bad grades. It’s all good though, tomorrow is a new day and I will try again.

Outside or Inside?

I love to travel. I would rather go outside and see new places, meet new people than stay inside. But if I cannot go outside, I will rather stay in my room reading fiction.

Hey guys! Its been a while since I updated about my life. My days are essentially all the same. I have been taking practice tests and revising english all day. And if I need a break revising some other subject. Today though I took a bio class. It was very refreshing tbh.

11-10-2021|| I got a PhD position at my university! It is on empirical plant research and climate modelling, very exciting! Also a bit nervous, I forgot a lot of my living plant knowledge, since I mostly worked with fossil ones during my master’s. So I’m studying everything to be prepared before I start next month! Also went for a great autumn walk in a nearby forest and collected some thingies for my room, makes me quite happy 🍂

nothing like reading with your face in the sun - I think virginia would have agreed (it’s so lovely to be back in her company, 4 years after getting right inside Mrs Dalloway at A-Level. the older I get, the more certain things jump out - her privilege in society is hard to divorce from her creative output, for example, and I’m not convinced by her personal branch of feminism, but nonetheless, it’s an absolute pleasure to get lost in her sentences)
