My ex once told me the same thing, and I wanted to change just to please him, just like you.
lunaxshawâ:
âI canât believe that after eight months of no contact, the last message scientists get basically translates to âMy battery is low and itâs getting dark.â That sounds so sad.â Luna hadnât been following the Mars rover that closely, but she suddenly had a deep ache in her chest over Opportunityâs passing. Even if that wasnât the exact message, it was still one hell of a thought provoking sentence. âNow I canât stop thinking about machines or space exploration.â
Vivienne had only been listening partly, but when she finally snapped back to reality, she looked up at the woman across from her. âWait what? You want to go to space? What the hell is up there, black holes and aliens?â she said as she stirred her cold tea, not even sure if she still wanted to drink it. âSounds like more trouble than itâs worth to me.â
hokuspocusâ:
Haylee only chuckled at the brunetteâs comment; she never thought of herself as anything spectacular, at least not enough to get a round of applause, to her she was simply doing her job, and if anyone was to clap at the end, it would be out of polite manner. Dancing was a passion of hers, and getting paid for simply enjoying your passion seemed like the perfect way to earn money. With Vivienne, by her side, she felt even more relaxed, playful; hands roaming the other womanâs body slowly and seductively almost through out the entire performance. It wasnât a surprise that that was one of the main reasons most of eyes at the club were glued only on them. A devilish smirk played upon her rosy lips, as the song ended, and the crowd went wild. âWelcome to my world.â She offered her friend a playful wink, before taking her by the hand and pulling her towards the bar. Ordering a couple of tequila shots, she turned around upon her heels to face the girl, âNow, that wasnât so scary, was it? Weâre definitely doing it again. Howâs next thursday?â She was joking, obviously, but she wouldnât actually mind having her by her side more often.Â
Vivienne laughed breathlessly, running a hand through her dark locks as she shook her head. âOh god no, I am not a dancer. That was fun and all, but I prefer being under the hood of a car than up there again. I will definitely be back to watch that again though because damn youâre hot,â she said as she followed the other woman to the bar, jumping up on a bar stool. She took the shot willingly, downing it without hesitation and slamming it down on the bar top for another. âYouâll have to let me do some candid shots one of these days,â Vi winked, taking her shot when the bartender refilled them. âPreferably with that outfit, or less,â she smirked.
avery-carterwateâ:
âThat shows how new to town you are.â Avery chuckled, smoothing down the second dress and inspecting herself in the mirror. âI mean, open bar for one thing; and, last year there was The Weeknd and Timberlake, poker, and a burlesque show with a very handsy contortionist.â She said, smirking at the woman through the mirror. âPlus every town event goes to hell, keeps things fun.â
âSeems like an overhyped school dance to me, but Iâll go if your hot ass is going to be there,â Vivienne smirked, smile widening as she laid down on the bed and propped her head up on one hand. âSo Iâve heard. How can I get in on this whole wreaking havoc thing? This place is boring enough already, Iâm starting to hate Chase for dragging me here.â
hokuspocusâ:
Haylee let out a small giggle at the other girlâs reaction, as she pulled her onto the stage with ease, the other girls barely paying any attention to what was going on around them, the curse of being that self-centered. âDonât âwait, whatâ me. Thereâs no going back now. Youââll rock this.â Her rosy lips curled into a devilish smirk, bright lights hitting the stage almost instantly in sync with the change of the music.
âBabe, have you looked at yourself? Youâll look hot hopping on one foot with a bucket over your head.â She reassured the girl, as she kept her piercing blue gaze upon her, and only her for the time being, âJust follow my lead, okay? Itâs just a stage, V, itâs not your public execution.â With those words, she stepped closer to the girl, swaying to the rhythm gracefully, hands wrapping around her waist.
Before she could even argue, she was already up on stage, dozens of eyes on her while Haylee tried to keep her attention. âSpeak for yourself, you always end up with a round of applause,â she muttered, but followed her movements anyway. Before long she was swaying her hips instinctively, losing herself in the music like she usually did when she was rolling on a buzz of cocktails and molly.Â
As much as she wanted to be embarrassed, something about dancing so close to another gorgeous woman doing enough to alleviate the feeling of exposure. It wasnât like she didnât dance on tables when she was drunk enough, so this was really no different. By the time the song ended, Vi was filled with adrenaline, bouncing to the edge of the stage breathlessly as she ran a hand through her dark locks. âDamn. That was insane,â she said as she caught her breath.
