So bold of spn to say "Dean's happy ending is he gets to be in Heaven with his loved ones" when there's a literal episode in season 5 where Dean goes to Heaven, learns that they're perfect pockets catered specifically to the person's needs and want's AKA HEAVEN and then gets in a debate with Pamela about "dying not being so bad" where he rejects Heaven and tells her that getting to live and free will is still better than playacting your ideal moment on loop.

Dean wanted a chance at living so bad and never got it because he was too busy acting out the roles handed to him and by the time he finally has a chance to live and make of his life what he wills he's too miserable to try (and it's already been taken away from him anyway) and gets blasted up to heaven. Like, yes, Heaven isn't so lonely anymore now the walls have been torn down but he still never got a chance to LIVE and experience and grow because Heaven is still static.

SPN said "death is a cop-out not a happy ending" and then ten years later they killed the character that believed it the most.

So, the photos don’t look like much but this was so much fun. The prompt was “admiring Misha’s beard” which Jensen was immediately up for, then all I could hear was Jensen mumbling while Misha was trying so hard not to laugh that he started shaking trying to hold it in. Chris took the photo and Jensen made him take it again, so Jensen’s mumbling and Misha trying not to laugh continued. By the time I left, Jensen was still grinning about whatever he’d been doing/saying to Misha, and I got both ops given! Super happy to partake in a tiny cockles antic 🥰

And no, I didn’t pick up a single word despite trying so hard!!! But watching Misha trying to keep it together was soooooooo enjoyable

so you are gonna sit there and tell me claire doesn't just show up to the bunker at random times. sometimes covered in blood, sometimes yelling about needing help getting rid of a body, and sometimes just because she hasn't had a lead in a couple days and got bored. she makes jokes like 'it's giving daddy issues' and the boys get so mad because they cannot understand what the hell she is trying to say. that's usually followed by an old man joke, and cas saying something like 'having a difficult relationship with your father is probably the reason you tend to respond with violence over compassion'

dean winchester's a wild character because you can definitively say he's suffered more than jesus by the time you get to the fourth season and it's literally less than a third of the way through the show but the writers refuse to let him get better. they just drag him through tragedy after tragedy like the world's most fucked up crash test dummy and kill him when he's like 40 what was up with that
