It’s a tit-for-tat situation; primal, animalistic, and probably ten kinds of illegal. When a case is revealed to be closer to Castiel than what he considers safe, he and Dean must work together to make sure that Crowley goes down for good. Will Castiel be able to keep Dean at arm’s length, or will the charming convict finally get what he’s been asking for all along? What lengths will Castiel go to… at Dean’s behest?

For the longest time, I put off reading this fic because some of the kinks included in the tags aren’t my cup of tea. But I’ve really loved some of this author’s fics I read in the past and this seemed like an enemies-to-lovers and murder-husbands kind of fic that intrigued me. That along with the summary, I just couldn’t resist. And boy, this did not disappoint!

This fic starts right off the bat with smut while Cas is on one of his conjugal visits to Dean. And lemme tell you, it gets kinky and hot, that’s for sure.

The more Cas visits Dean to get information from him and they explore several different kinks with Cas being the unofficially dominant in the relationship, the more we get to know about them and about their secret past.

And through several twists and turns along the way, you understand they’re both messed up and their relationship isn’t healthy in any way, so if you’re looking for a fluffy, sweet relationship, this isn’t the fic for you, I mean just look at the tags before you dive in.

But if you’re looking for a wild ride and two twisted souls finding each other and completing each other in a sordid, wrong but oh so right kind of way, buckle up and click on that link.
