I left the Arcane fandom for a while only to come back and regret returning again. It's like going back to 2020 when Catradora was made official but 100% worse by Arcane's huge audience and now Caitvi has become the monster of these people's nightmares. This is supposed to be fun, I want to have fun again

It's been a while since I've commented on my babies, so I created a list (a little too detailed hahaha) of my favorite Caitvi hcs. I have two more lists, one nsfw and one with them being mothers.

Maybe I'll post those too, but for now I hope you enjoy this one with them being domestic:

Caitlyn is the jealous one in the relationship, obviously. Vi is cool about it and likes to see people trying to get her or Caitlyn's attention. Cait can't stand seeing other women trying to flirt or touch Vi's arms. She knows Vi would never cheat on her, that's not the problem. What pisses her off is the audacity of women ignoring her relationship and her presence as if she doesn't exist.

Caitlyn has a lot of sensitivity in her neck after going through that traumatic sequence in s2. The turbo chemtank crushing her, Sevika hanging her against the wall, the hit from Maddie's gun, Ambessa constantly on the back of her neck manipulating her, Rictus choking her, they all focus on the neck or very close to the region. She can't stand anyone other than Vi touching or getting too close to that place.

After Caitlyn lost her eye, Vi got into the habit of always staying on Caitlyn's blind side when they were out and about so that Cait wouldn't be surprised. Caitlyn quietly appreciates Vi's care because she hates feeling like she now has a weak spot where people can take advantage of her.

Vi has learned that if she uses her puppy eyes Caitlyn will give in and do whatever she wants, whether it's asking her to stay in bed longer or convincing her that she can finish her reports tomorrow. After all, "Sheriff Cupcake can't be mad at me."

Vi doesn't mind with Piltie's luxuries, most of them she finds unnecessary. But she's learned to actually enjoy the hot baths, the soft blankets, the mansion's library full of books, the oils Cait always uses to massage her aching back, and she definitely doesn't complain about the food.

Caitlyn can't relax in the shower anymore if she's alone in that bathroom. After her traumatic kidnapping she needs to at least know or hear that Vi is in the room to enjoy the hot water. So when Vi's not around, it's typical for her showers to be short and for her to keep a gun in the drawer or near her towel, just in case.

Caitvi usually takes turns being the biggest spoon, it will depend on what happened that day and the other's mood.

Caitlyn is very protective of Vi, she wants Vi to see her as a safe place and allow herself to be vulnerable. So she can take insults directed at her and remain composed, but the line is crossed when the target of the attacks is Vi.

Caitvi are very affectionate, as if they can't keep their hands off each other for long. In a private place it's blatant and open with Vi laying her head on Caitlyn's shoulder, sweet kisses and long hugs. In public places it's more restrained, a hand on the waist, holding hands, Caitlyn stroking Vi's arm. They've become experts at touching each other in ways so subtle that most won't even notice.

You know, instead of blonde cross eyed weirdo dancing with Vi in Act 2, it should've been Miss Fortune and it results in a sex scene where Vi imagining its Caitlyn.

Vi dancing with MF would make a lot of people freak out, but it would be very random to include a character from another region like that without any explanation. But who knows, maybe she will appear in some future series.

About sex, with Vi in that situation, I think it is very unlikely that she would allow herself that kind of intimacy. She was suffering from many things at the time: identity crisis, anger, pain, sadness, confusion, frustration. She doesn't know who she is, she lost everyone she loves and she no longer has a home or a reason to move on. So she does the only thing that has kept her alive all these years: fight. And if drinking can make her forget all this pain for a moment, what's the problem? Self-destructing in the processor is just a bonus.

Even with her hallucinations with Caitlyn, as much as she wants to have Caitlyn back and remembers her in that sweet and gentle version lying in bed, Vi probably feels at that moment that she doesn't deserve to touch Caitlyn. In fact, throughout Act 1 I have the feeling that Vi doesn't feel worthy of Caitlyn's affection, she's always tense, always reciprocating seconds late, it's up to Caitlyn to take the initiative, always start the touching and only then does Vi reciprocate with everything she has.

With the success that Arcane has had, it's kind of obvious that a large portion of caitvi's fans now have no idea what they're like in the game's lore and aren't aware of the content we had there.

So I feel compelled to show you, poor starving caitvi fans, what we were given to survive on before the series canonized them.

Here I bring you the interactions that always make me laugh when I find them again on the internet:

First of all, it was a shock when I saw this. Vi was explicitly talking about going on a date with a girl. There was no indication that they wanted to confirm them as a couple, but people just saw this and assumed "What girl would be upset about being late? Exactly! Caitlyn!"

what scares me is that this is not the first time she has shared her erotic dreams

Sheriff Cupcake has her favorites. By the way, it's funny that Vi gets a free pass with Caitlyn. Like, they weren't even canon yet, but apparently Vi always got complaints about conduct violations and property destruction, but the most she got from Cait was "let's keep the chaos to a minimum"?

Again, everyone treats Caitlyn with respect because of the work hierarchy, but Vi doesn't mind using Cait's pet name in front of other enforces and I doubt anyone would dare use it with her

Vi is faithful to her wife, women will flirt with her and her response will be to laugh and say "girl, I'm married"

Caitlyn has a soft spot for bad girls confirmed

There's a lot more to these two in the lore, but that's all I could think of for now. Maybe I'll do more posts about them in the near future.

I wanna talk about Vi pulling Cait by the back of the neck here. Not only is it really hot I feel like it has a lot of meaning...

Caitlyn has spent half of season 2 with her neck being a target. She is choked out by the shimmer monster at the memorial.

Sevika chokes her...

Sevika chokes her TWICE while fighting in the tunnels... I imagine after this she has a lot of trauma around her neck being a vulnerability...

She pulls away when Maddie goes for her neck when they are in bed.

She covers her neck completely with the collar of her coat

Covering her neck with her clothing, and her neck thingy(idk what it is called) to display her rank. A symbol of her status and strength in a place that she feels she is vulnerable...

Ambessa's lieutenant chokes her when she is trying to help Vander, he chokes her enough for her eyes to turn read and for her to pass out, she almost died here if Jinx hadn't stopped him... another peace of trauma added to the pile.

She wears a turtleneck after that, perhaps symbolizing the trauma from those previous experiences, an attempt at sheltering herself from pain that area of her body has been subjected to.

Yet she allows Vi to pull her in from the back of her neck.

She allows herself to feel pleasure in Vi's touch there...

She tilts her head so Vi can have more access to the part of her body that makes her feel most vulnerable. Allowing Vi to kiss her there... to trail her fingers down her throat.

She even allows Vi to grab her by it as they are kissing. From anyone else this action would invoke a trauma response but again, she allows herself to take pleasure in it.

Caitlyn allows Vi to touch her most vulnerable parts, she allows herself to feel it as a source of pleasure instead of pain. I think its an incredible beautiful detail...giving yourself to someone you trust fully.

Then when Maddie aims at Caitlyn's neck, its like a huge fuck you to all of the growth Cait has allowed herself. A place on her body that has shown weakness, pain and trauma that she has allowed herself to heal with Vi's hands. Maddie tries to take that away.

Then she still is wearing the turtleneck at the end, symbolizing the trauma she bears. Still vulnerable, to what may come next. But she has Vi by her side to soothe those worries, because she knows they can overcome anything together. I think that is beautiful.

Well, a month has passed since the end of Arcane and even though I haven't posted anything, I'm always here following some incredible analyses. And during all this time as a Caitvi shipper (long before the series was announced) I've seen everything in just one month

stan Jinx (sorry if you're a decent stan jinx, the ones I've met have serious problems), anti-caitvi, moral police, "arcane critical", vi hater, caitlyn hater, incel, misogynists, harassers, lesbophobes, people who go to the ship's tags to talk shit

And now I started thinking and finally came to the conclusion that… I don't FUCKING care about your opinion. I'm tired of stressing myself out because of misinterpretations. I'm going to have fun, there are fanarts, fanfics and people who love this ship as much as I do. If you couldn't feel the same way I did watching this couple's story, I'm really sorry, because I loved this experience with all my soul. I'm not going to ruin the affection and how special these two are to me just because you didn't like or didn't understand what the writers did to them

I have my own complaints about some of the choices the writers made with them, but nothing that would ruin my experience

To the couple's lovers, a piece of advice: don't pay attention to these people. They won't change the way they think and your argument doesn't mean anything to them, it will only make them think they are right. It's not worth damaging your mental health

So if you're one of those crazy lovers who just wants to freak out and have fun with hc, theories or just finding details, I'd love to freak out with you. Don't be shy, I promise I'm just a little weird
