𓏲 ๋࣭ ࣪ ˖ CALL ME BIASED AND SELF INDULGENT ALL YOU WANT!!! but also try imagining it. YOU COULD TOTALLY HEAR IT IN HIS VOICE RIGHT??? i think it'd be a very cute nickname that he'd enjoy. its kind of like a reminder for him every time he calls you. like,, they are my love,, the person i am in love with,, AHH CUTE!!!
𓏲 ๋࣭ ࣪ ˖ the desk in front of you holds a multitude of glasses and vials, all full of colorful liquids. some lay static, neatly placed upon their designated stands, while others are set atop a flame, softly bubbling. the immense number of flasks before you would no doubt cause others to spiral into a sense of discomfort and perturbation, however such a sight was and always has been a part of your job. you’ve more or less grown quite accustomed to navigating through the plethora of ingredients used in the art of alchemy, such a thing comes second nature to you. as such, it has never been much of an issue to you to be faced with such an overwhelming sight.
subsequently, this very expertise of yours has led you to countless joint projects with albedo. while you won’t say your knowledge of alchemy is as vast as his, i mean, you’ve literally watched him bring his paintings to life, you still pride yourself in being among one of the most knowledgeable in the subject. truly, with your capabilities, it was evident from the very beginning that you would find yourself spending so much time with the chief alchemist, eventually leading to quite the romance between you two.
you look up from the colorful array of bubbling beakers in front of you and train your eyes to the man on your left. albedo is facing away from you, seemingly preoccupied with his own set of alchemical equipment. craning your neck from your spot, you catch a glimpse of him scribbling away notes on his clipboard, no doubt all about the little changes happening to the experiment in front of him.
getting up from your chair, you curiously take a few slow steps closer to observe the very same flask that has caught your lover in a trance. for a moment, you two stand there and exchange short notes about your own separate observations. his soft voice with yours, and the quiet hum of the burners creating a peaceful scene.
not long after, you notice small changes in the glass in front of you, indicating that the time to progress has come. you and albedo swiftly get to work, passing equipment and tools back and forth from one another. with how familiar you two are with your work and each other, theres almost little to no talking between you as you work. at most, you’ll exchange quiet words when the other is too preoccupied to see your nonverbal gestures.
after waving his hand aimlessly for a few seconds, albedo turns and realizes that you had no chance of noticing his futile attempts to motion for your attention. you were holding up one of the many flasks of liquid, completely focused on rolling your wrist to gently mix its contents. seeing this, albedo lets out a breath, almost a small laugh as his face morphs into a soft smile. “my love, could you please pass me the crystal cores?” he’d softly mumble, amusement becoming more evident on his face as he notices the subtle way you perk up after hearing his voice.
really, you can’t think of anyone better to explore the wonders of alchemy with than albedo, and neither can he.
✦•┈๑ mualani - partner in crime! (560 words)
𓏲 ๋࣭ ࣪ ˖ she doesn't strike me as someone who would use more formal or “mature” nicknames like dear or darling. she seems more like she'd use sillier, less serious terms of endearment! something that matches her more care-free nature!
𓏲 ๋࣭ ࣪ ˖ you’re sitting on one of the many platforms found among the children of the springs. legs dangling off the edge, just above the hot springs, swaying back and forth to the same rhythm as the wind. today has been quite uneventful for you, not that you’d mind of course. the people of the springs value each day, no matter what it brings…
except you’d really prefer to be doing something right now.
you’ve spent the past two hours (it’s only been thirty minutes, but with how long it felt it might as well have been two hours) sitting in the same spot, staring listlessly into nothingness! you’ve entertained the idea of taking a dip in the hot springs, although after sitting in its warm, inviting waters for almost half an hour, you were swiftly kicked out by an elder of the tribe who was worried about you passing out from the heat.
at some point afterwards, you’ve even thought of asking around for any work that needed attending to, though you quickly threw that idea out once you realized that you did NOT want to work on a day off no matter how bored you were.
you were looking for something fun to do, but try as you might, you simply couldn’t think of a single activity to do. something, ANYTHING, to save you from this tormenting, agonizing, boredom-!!
“hey you! what’re you up to?”
as if the wayob heard your prayers, a blessing in the form of a blue-clad girl came your way! mualani’s energetic manner of speaking never fails to put a smile on your face. you could physically feel the burden of boredom leave your body the second you turn to look at this ray of sunshine headed your way, with her wide grin and the animated waving of her hand.
“you’re not out here having fun without me, are you?” she joked, stopping just a little before you, hands resting on her hips as she slightly leaned in your direction. you couldn’t help but roll your eyes and chuckle after hearing her words.
“please, i’ve been dying of boredom for the past hour or so.” you quip back, lightly patting the space beside you as an invitation for her to join. after she settles down, you start once again.
“i’m actually glad you’re here, surely the best tour guide in all of the people of the springs can help me find something interesting to do?”
at those words, her eyes grew brighter, and her smile more contagious than it already was. she quickly repositioned herself to face you better, and then grabbed both your hands in hers. “oh, you know it! when it comes to a fun-filled afternoon, few come close to my expertise!”.
she hastily helps you up, and together you might as well have been strategizing some evil plan to take over the world as your synchronous giggles attracted the attention of the nearby koholasaurs. mualani gently pulls you along with her, “don’t you worry my partner in crime! i can assure you that by the end of the day, you’ll forget what boredom even feels like!”

- notes: AAAAH! My first fanfic posted ever! It felt right for it to be Willmesh. Its a little short, but I didn’t want to force it to be lengthy. I pray its not OOC. I am a little nervous, so I hope you enjoy it!
it was dark. Aside from the moonlight shining trough the curtains, it was pitch black. You and Willmesh have gotten ready for the night, and now you were both laying face to face in your shared bed. It was hard to make out Willmesh’s expression, but you could feel it was nothing short of the loving smile he often gave you. His hand found yours, shyly grasping it. And for a moment, the two of you just laid there. Quiet breathing, a gentle warmth from your joined hands. His thumb caressed over the back of your hand. His surprisingly rough fingertips and his many bandages caused an interesting feel, but it was a feeling you’ve long grown familiar with. The warm feeling only spread to your heart, a soft sigh leaving you. Willmesh gently pulled you closer till you were laying with your face in his chest and his head resting on top of yours. His hand still held yours, and his other hand came to rest on your back. You snuggled into him, which made him chuckle. You could feel the rumbly sound in his chest. At the close, warm contact with him, you slowly start to drift off. When you almost had fallen asleep, you hear Willmesh whisper a quiet “I love you.” something he’d often had a hard time saying. You smiled, pressing yourself closer to him. Willmesh blushed when he noticed you weren’t asleep yet, before deciding it wasn’t anything to worry about. He closed his eyes, focusing of the feeling of you in his arms. Laying like this, peaceful at night, you both drifted off to sleep, happy to have the other there with you.

some days, you find yourself struggling to find the time to brush your hair. you never thought it was all too necessary, you had many other things to attend to. besides, its not like anyone in the castle would see you, they were all much too busy with their own errands.
well, except for one certain boy.
said certain boy is currently standing at your doorway, looking as prim and proper as always. hallritt always seems to be so careful with his appearance. if you were to ask him why, he’d probably respond with something like;
“when people look at me, they’ll be reminded of lord kitty! so i have to make sure i look my best so everyone can happily continue to think of her!”
… bright as ever, he is… (you’ll try not to tell him that people think of lord kitty whenever they look at him, regardless of what he looks like…)
its for this exact reason that he’s at your door right now. you’ve come to a habit of trying to avoid hallritt whenever you run out of time in the morning to properly tidy yourself up. every time he sees your unkept hair, he always seems to frown and fuss over you. apparently today, hallritt, kind as ever (and slightly concerned for your wellbeing…), has taken it upon himself to check up on you in your living quarters before you both run off to fulfill your eventful schedules.
after apologizing for his sudden visit, his eyes trailed up to your hair causing him to slightly tilt his head to the side with a frown. though with a quick shake of his head, his bright smile has returned to its rightful place. you attempt to alert him of the rapidly marching time, however with a quick “don’t worry, we won’t take long!” he’s already leading you back to your desk where your hair brush lay neglected.
as he carefully guides you to sit at your chair, he reaches for your hair brush with a determined look on his face. If you didn’t know any better, you’d think he was working on a task personally given to him by lord kitty.. alas, hallritt is simply always this hardworking. with all of your worried words going through one ear and out the other, you simply give in and allow him to do as he pleases.
you two find yourself immersed in a peaceful quiet, simply enjoying each other’s presence with hallritt gently brushing your hair as if it was something precious to him. he treats you ever so softly, almost causing you to doze off at certain times. when hallritt would feel your head slowly tilting down in drowsiness, he’d only find himself with a softer gaze and a fond smile.
after hearing the soft thud of your hair brush being set back down, you’d open your eyes, vision still quite hazy from your little nap. as you carefully blink away the remnants of dreamland, you feel hallritt rest his hands on your shoulders. curiously, you look up at the mirror in front of you to catch a glimpse of his face. he dons a bright closed eye smile, with a slight tilt to his head.

im working on a genshin one, although it has multiple characters so it's taking me a little while to finish hehe,, though!! in the meantime, i've finished a hallritt fic!!

YAY I’m so glad to see another fragmem writer after a bit of a fandom drought and yess the do it yourself thing im seeing a lot of writers revive with that!! I would totally join but the few times I’ve tried I cannot get to a point of satisfaction when I read my own work so I’m so grateful for anyone who shared their work with the community…also based off your layout I’m assuming you’re also a Louter fan which is brings me joy in so many ways you don’t even know…
And my mistake!! I got too used to reading series that also use interlude so I probably misconstrued it but if you ever write more Louter (or stella twins/other frag content for that matter) I will be the first to eat it up
I seriously can’t put into words how happy I am to have discovered you especially since I feel like my faves aren’t usually the most popular so they don’t get as much attention like this literally made my year and all the years of lurking in the tag worth it sorry my word choice is not conveying this strongly enough but tldr you may or may not be my savior and I also just wanna throw out there that I love the angle you took on that oneshot and the characterization was so so good!!!!! i completely understand what you mean by "not reaching a point of satisfaction"!! thats how i tend to feel with everything i write too huhu. i tend to overthink every single sentence i write like. "does this make sense" or "does this sound weird". its partially why i started this blog in the first place! i wanted to start writing because it always seemed so fun when other people would do it, so i made this blog to share my little word vomits to whoever wants to read it without putting too much pressure on myself hehe,,,
AND I ALSO!! ALSO!! GET NOT HAVING A LOT OF THINGS TO READ ABOUT YOUR FAVE BECAUSE THEY ARENT POPULAR!! its another reason why i started this blog!! you might notice it when i post more, but im aiming to write for characters/fandoms i love but dont see a lot of content for!! because i love them lots and writing for them makes me happy, and i know someone else would like to read about their fave too!!

pardon the intrusion but adding on to this! i do think most new writers tend to not be satisfied by their own writing (me, hello) because they read so much their sense is a bit skewed, so to say. it isnt necessarily bad writing! you just know it can be better but youre not there yet!!
overthinking can be part of the process sometimes (i had to google if coffee cup is a thing like 30min ago) but most readers will get what youre going for! just keep on writing and youll get there one day..!

yes yes, i do think it has something to do with "not being used to writing so im not fully confident in being able to fully articulate what im trying to say" so i do think its just a matter of practice and time to become more comfortable with writing and becoming more confident, if that makes sense?
No worries take as much time as you need responding!! I get pretty packed too with my chaotic schedule so I toootally get it!!!
But that makes me so happy to hear that you’re writing for some lesser known characters!!! You’re truly saving all of us fans hehe and especially as a fan of a less popular character in an already very niche fandom your Louter piece was my saving grace…EXACTLY yes refreshing the same tag and taking whatever gets posted once in a blue moon totally on the same wavelength because that’s exactly how I felt and imagine my elation when your writing is also amazing and aligns so well with my personal understanding of the characters as well…I do hope to get the opportunity to be graced by your Louter writing again sometime in the future!!!

𓏲 ๋࣭ ࣪ ˖ note; i’ll be honest, i was suddenly hit with this idea and i wrote it at like 7 in the morning. the writing style on this is definitely very different from my louter one, but i think it fits the idea pretty well!! still, i would like to formally apologize for the 180 in vibes!! might be ooc again, im telling you guys the last time i watched fragmem’s voice drama was with blue bo’s ep 6,,,
willmesh wouldn't give you his scarf if you were cold, no. it’s a very comforting item for him. without it he would simply feel much too awkward and quite frankly, a little nervous. though, he is all too aware of how rude it would be to not aid you while you were freezing.
his solution?
“i’ll have to apologize.. this is all i can do for you right now..” he says, while cupping your hands in his own. if the warm, gentle puffs of air he blows towards your hands wasn’t enough to warm you up, his closeness to you definitely is. he's slightly hunched closer to your hands, looking at you with a slightly guilty expression like he's some sort of sad dog! like he has no idea how hard your heart’s beating right now!!
“it’s.. it's fine, really.” you'd reply, while turning your gaze to the side. it feels like if you looked at him from this close any longer, you'd combust on the spot… although.. that would warm you up.. and isn't that the goal here..?
slowly, you'd turn your eyes back to him only to rip it right off him quicker than lightning. you ABSOLUTELY cannot look at him from this close!! your heart feels like it's trying to escape from the confines of your chest for heaven’s sake!!!
finally, after a few more attempts at warming you up, willmesh straightens up again. it seems he was much too preoccupied with his task as he's completely ignorant to your predicament…
“we should get somewhere warmer..” he'd state while trailing his gaze off to the buildings around you, subconsciously rubbing his thumbs over your palms. “...maybe we could go to a cafe? ciel did tell me about a new one around here..” he adds with a slight mumble. when he looks back to you however, he quickly perks up in surprise. “are you okay? you seem a little unwell.” he'd say while donning a slightly concerned expression.
he finally noticed!

you'd quickly try to change the topic, while you drag him to.. wherever! you don't know where this cafe is, but you're walking!! anything to distract him from your very obviously flustered self!
“ah! i think it's that way-??” he'd try to say, while pointing to the other direction. though with how fast you’re walking, he has no choice but to follow along as you drag him to who knows where…
