• part of the reason was that she saw herself in the kitten. she, too, had once been a wanderer, adrift and uncertain. she had lost pieces of herself along the way, forgotten where she came from, and who she was meant to be. and then, just when she thought she would stay lost forever, you found her
• the other part is because she finds it adorable (what is she, heartless???)
• acheron will definitely talk to the kitten in plain english, explaining the expectations she places
• "that means you will refrain from climbing onto the dinner table and counter...and you will also not attempt to eat anything larger than yourself" she lectures, the kitten obliviously swatting at her outstretched hand, "...but exceptions can be negotiated"
• she'll also often forget to feed the kitten, her thoughts drifting elsewhere. lucky for her, the kitten was always ready to remind her, mewling insistently until she finally remembered to set out its food

• other than providing the "fuzzy disciple" with all the essential care and things, rappa also attempts to train it in the ways of the ninja. she'll build tiny obstacle courses with pillows, boxes, and other objects she finds around the "dojo" (your house)
• the kitten ignores all of them and instead naps on her "scrolls" (her manga), which she takes as a sign of "hidden potential"
• she insists that the kitten "needs to learn independent survival," but somehow the cat always ends up curled against her at night
• to her, taking in the kitten is a small but powerful act of justice. she'll be proud of you, but probably won't ever tell it to you straight because she always gets too flustered

• she'll absolutely carry the cat in his jacket or in a custom pouch when she goes out so it can "experience the wind like a real warrior". she'll be careful not to move too quickly, lest the kitten be injured

Constantly attending classes to brush up on childcare and engaging with the other parents within the frostmoon scions- even going into nasha town to learn more about the broader cultures of Nod-krai in case the little one didn't wish to be apart of her own
she wouldn't want to force them to stay if they didn't want to - but she is thinking too far ahead.
she hopes for yours and the younglings sake they take after you more than her, the troubles of raising a silver blooded, moon blessed child will be difficult and cause the frostmoon scions to rouse at the prospect of the next moon maiden/priestess

then she starts thinking about that and staring down at your stomach with a confused look
even though she's not the one pregnant, it seems you've both received baby brain
she's kind of embarrassed about some of the blunders that come about because of it, but she finds it more funnier and a good memory to tell in the future
she would suggest that you have a water birth so she can assist in the process closer to the due date and ensure you're not in too much pain
As a priestess she would likely be present in many births on Watasumi island if to bless the newborns or if there's known complications
Having the strongest hydromancy healing is also a very helpful thing in this case.
Over the course of your pregnancy, she does use it passively to help ease your body, massaging her fingers into your muscles and loosening them so you can rest peacefully

Her suggestions for names would either be older traditional names or the names of close friends she'd lost during the war - even if it's just the initials for the middle name/s
Kinda biassed, but she hopes the baby looks like her. She'd love to match herself to her child, and the looks on others' faces will be priceless should they do

Both are well acquainted with caring for children of all ages, so you're set with a stable household going into it
Lisa's approach to mothering is a hands-off, relaxed one while Jean is more stern, hand on - which compliment each other greatly
for months before hand Lisa is going to start compiling different books she'll like to read to her future bundle ranging from the general ‘peek a boo bunny’ to simple information booklets she's doubling up on from her list of books she needs to vet for the library
Jean will want to spend some time thinking over how exactly she wants to approach having her own child, helping raise Barbara alongside Varka while her mother and father went through their divorce was a difficult period of her life
she doesn't want her own child to face the things she had- so there's a lot of back and forth of comforting her and discussing things thoroughly before she can reach a resolution
Introducing their wards: Klee and Razor to the new bundle would be interesting for you - Klees never met someone who's pregnant and razor who's used to the wolves of his pack becoming snippy and hiding away before a new litter is suddenly introduced weeks later
Lisa does act smug after the bub arrives and shows them off to the knights when they make their rounds
holding her baby up in Varka's face and taunting him [He laughs heartily, wiggling his fingers in response and smiling when the baby reaches for him]
If you decide to go back to your job or what you were doing previously Lisa will gladly bring along baby to work, a set up for the little one right next to her desk and paid babysitters in the form of nosey knights and late returnees
in the rare cases Lisa has to go hunt down those who have not returned important documents or thieves the bub is then passed along to Jean, which forces her to finally take a break from her tasks so she can just sit there and cuddle with her baby
Barbara is likely the one to volunteer to help with the birth, being the resident hydro healer of the church and close relative to one of your partners

Grandmother Fredrica is… tentative. She doesn't have the softest of demeanours, but holding her grandchild for the first time does soften her to Jean's relief
The introduction of the baby actually kickstarts her family into being more closer, family dinners become more frequent, Barbara and Varka are sticking around, Razor dragging Bennett and Fischl over so they can play with the bub, Jean's parents communicating with each other about something that isn't their divorce
you and Lisa can’t help but watch the pure look of happiness on Jeans face
Surprisingly, the godparent role gets given to the Hexenzirkle coven, the whole lot taking one look and immediately accepting its newest member, which gives Jean a heart attack when she heard their intentions
They're both happy to stop at the one - perfectly fine. Lisa's old, she does not want to carry, and Jean lives a physically active and danger prone life as the Dandelion Knight, so them carrying is not in the cards either
They both have a plethora of names they put forwards too, so sorting through them will take months of your time
Navia and Clorinde
Having a pregnancy with these two in mind is a planned event - it has to be for Clorinde in particular
With the volatility and risks of her job as duelist its recommended she not have such attachments and that she'd need to pass a few tests on whether or not she'd still be viable - It's a dangerous profession that results in a death on one side or the other
So to hear you're the one fallen pregnant is a large weight off of all of your shoulders
There's a quiet sigh of relief as you all sit together with tests before she begins crying in a tense joy
Clorinde is awfully attentive to you while Navia has a more relaxed approach to your pregnancy
already you have her underlings as your new entourage when either of them aren't present and a hoard of aunties, uncles, parents, even strangers from around Poisson helping out alongside the teapot realm residents
The bundle will be getting a lot of attention growing up that’s for certain
And its exacerbated by Navia promenading around the court of fontaine with her bub in a pram, a giant covering looking like her umbrella flared out and her dressed in her normal outfit [which is just as ornate]
Baby clothes are brought from Chiori [even if she was very vocal about not wanting a baby in her store]
Taking you out on frequent boat rides during your pregnancy is something Navia is an advocate for [unless you find yourself seasick] because she wants to acclimise the baby to it
she has no proof that works, but she enjoys the domestic sight of her lover it provides her
Navias is really good at helping you get out any extra bursts energy if you start feeling things well up emotionally
and there's a clear debate going on between the two about the themes they want to decorate with: a sailors aesthetic or as a Maracheussee phantom. but then you suggest to base it off of their DnD troupe, and they instantly switch it up to that
Clorinde is spending her free time handmaking the furniture and getting Navia to fetch the wood as she goes along
set up outside of Poisson with you off to the side watching. If she finds paints you can use that won't make you sick, she'll get you to paint the pieces
Clorinde is also setting up a character sheet for the bub to have for future games and already making up scenarios to involve them, too
Navia will ask [very politely] if you and Clorinde could consider adding Silver or Meluse to the list of name candidates, be it for their first or middle name, even willing to forgo the full name for the initials if that's better
Clorinde will suggest her Masters name briefly before thinking about the implications of it and retracting her statement quickly
Honorary godparent position goes to Wriothesley to his disbelief - “Seriously? you've got to be kidding me, Clorinde- Navia? you too?”
Mualani [and Kinich]
Another bundle that will get bombarded by people the moment they arrive
but until then. Kinich will do his very best to ensure you stay holed away from too many prying eyes to Maulani's sheepish demeanour
As a partially planned event due to the complexities of both their occupations, they both relieved to hear its taken, and you've fallen pregnant in quick succession to when you three thought of expanding
much to Ajaw's squawks of protest - “It's going to pull my tail! Human babies should!-” Neither future parents let him speak much more in case he upsets you
Concerning Ajaw, the tiny dragon can already feel the pressure coming from the parent and everyone else to behave - which he will.
He'd eventually come to realise he can use this small child to annoy Kinich in a way that won't come back to him
“Behold! my newest disciple!" Ajaw shouts as he spends his time teaching the bub to say his name before anyone else's “Listen and weep as I extract its first words and turn them on you”
He becomes the baby's favourite to everyone's disappointment
Both have experience caring for children but not so many infants, so they both have Ifa let them practice with baby saurians anytime he has them in the vet
If there's anyone they're close to in their tribes that had any babies recently, they are asking for advice
Kinich finishes up his commissions early into your second trimester and will become a stay at home father, the pay out from his work enough to sustain the three of you and if you want to go back to doing what you were doing previously he's satisfied with living on his savings
Kinich is slightly hesitant because of his upbringing with his own father and tries not to think about how it may affect the way he raises his own
Mualani sticks to running the shop over in the springs and ferrying tours to visitors, often gushing about her baby on the way to them
Kinich will pass on his bandanna to the little one
Neither are hybrids, and their ancient names wouldn't affect anything, so its a normal human process
she would be so happy the moment she can take you all to the springs so she can sit her baby on board and paddle around the pool, introducing them to the water in small increments
Out of all their friends and family its hard for them to have 1 or 2 choices so they don't pick one at all, knowing that each of them would step up if need be or if something bad happened to one of them
and the fact they would argue and bicker with each other over favouritism
obviously, Auntie Kachina gets top position in that sort of ranking
the only argument that would be had is how the last name would come out - Mualani wanting Kiniches to go first, then yours, then hers which Kinich is insistent it goes the other way or to pick just one of the three of you
There's a betting pool on what the baby is going to look like. Most are voting. Mualani will win the poll
but the true test would be the saurian companion the bub would get - will it be a yumkasaur or a Koholasaur, or something entirely different
Candace and Dehya [and Dunyazard]
Another Planned Baby - Both Candace and Dehya work hard and dangerous jobs while Dunyazard is still sickly, so it comes down to waiting for the results to make themselves clear
all three of them are ecstatic, Dunyazard the most, knowing how much she's asking of you to carry
all in all, you two are sobbing messes cuddled into each other with Candace and Dehya prowling around you both with the goal of supporting you
none of them care about theming the room or planning too far ahead, losses were common with this small family, so they're focusing on keeping you well-fed, healthy, and happy
If Dunyazard gets sick during your pregnancy, she will attempt to hole herself away to make sure she doesn't unintentionally pass anything onto you
Candace and Dehya rarely get sick, but they do come back injured, and having you see them in that state isn't something they want
so they all take shifts when you aren't able to get up and move as freely as you want to
None of them are hybrids, so you don't have to worry about any flare ups of someone's instincts occurring
Only Candace's bloodline may affect things if the bub has her blood because of being a descendant of King Deshret [The heterochromia most likely being the result than anything nefarious]
Dehya cuts down her days at the taverns - “I have to save up for my kid, guys - I'll be back next week, though!”
and saves a pretty penny to fund whatever her child would want for their future
there is a debate between the four of you on the Akedemia being a main part of their future, and if you would all be promoting it
by then, they figure the Akedemia would be more accepting, seeing as its now being run through Nahida and a newer, better vetted group of sages
and becomes a point you'd have to revisit later
Dunyazard may worry on the rare chance she's the main donor and that her sickly constitution may pass onto the little one
Tighnari is asked to help with the delivery just because of his knowledge and how unreliable and overcrowded the Bimarstan has been recently
He also gets one of the positions as godparent as a bargaining chip, Dehya whispering it to him over a quick chat coming up to the group ask - he outs her underhanded tactic and tell you he'd do it without the blackmailing but now he expects the title
Faruzan gets the other position, much to her utter delight
Dehya won't boast about it, but word moves quickly through the mercenaries, and she is a well loved member
Candance tries to get you into a routine during your pregnancy, waking you up, making you breakfast, and doing some light exercises to keep you mobile while also doing her own stretches - bonding before she heads off
Most days, it is you and Dunyazard at home, her home until either Dehya or Candace returns from their jobs
there aren't any names they'd advocate for, and the names Dehyah thinks up of all end up being nicknames than proper ones

Mualani
18 yo - 1.68
Mualani is a young girl with too much energy. She acts quite like a girl her age, which is good! She is a tall girl, although not too much. She wears those platforms that increase her height by 2 or 3 cm.
Kinich
19-20 yo - 1.71
It's obvious that he's young, but nobody knows exactly how old he is because he never talks about himself and he behaves too seriously. Even so, it's easy to assume that he is already of age. He is not that tall but he is not exactly short either.
Heizou
20 yo - 1.68
He's not really tall but he wears those stupid shoes that make him look like 7cm taller. He's in his 20s and has too much annoying energy, bothering a lot of people because he's so talented and intelligent at his age. Besides, he doesn't respect his elders much.
Tighnari
25 yo - 1.65
He's only a year younger than Cyno, but Cyno sometimes acts like Tighnari is much younger. Tighnari really wants to hit him sometimes. He's not that tall, but his ears make him seem taller than he really is.
Kaveh
25 yo - 1.79
A handsome and tall man. Definitely many girls are in love with him. He has too much stress for his age and is fed up with someone younger (Alhaitham) constantly bothering him.
Alhaitham
23 yo - 1.85
He has too good a position and earns too well for someone so young. Many scholars envy him. He is quite tall and attractive, attracts a lot of attention but has a terrible attitude. He is the youngest of the Sumeru group
Kazuha

He's quite young but his whole family was ruined when he was about 15. Since then, he has been traveling and has had many experiences even at such a young age. He's not very tall, but I mean, he's not among the short guys either (Cyno and Xiao).

I was a bit indecisive about his age but some things have led me to believe that he is 18 years old or rather looks like it because it is obvious that he is much older. As much as Durin from Dragonspine as Durin from Simulanka. He is not very tall but his horns help him to look taller.

The Pyro Archon is definitely one tough gal, but she has her girly sides too. Kissing fires up her body, making her hair blaze like the Sacred Flame. Mavuika doesn't bother to act tough as you lay her down on her bike and exchange spit, nibbling lightly on her lip to elicit delicious, high pitched moans as her hands clench around your torso for support. Making out on the highest peaks as the winds howl around gets Mavuika all soft and mushy, as if she was in some sort of romantic tale of a hero claiming his fate-appointed bride. Please do leave hickeys on her neck - everybody lives their day as if it was the last in Natlan, and showing people she also thinks that can only stoke morale.
Qucusauri express love through various gestures like feather preening or bringing gifts, but they also “kiss” just like some species of birds. Chasca did it a lot with her sister and mama bird, but - since putting mouths together is reserved for lovers - you became the sole beneficiary of this gesture amongst humans. Chasca kisses often; when you’re alone and have some time for yourselves, she’ll grab your collar and pull you over before stuffing her tongue down your throat as her hands roam your strong, comforting body. She does not give up smooching when out in public, but Chasca prefers to use the Qucusaurus Kiss: what Natlanese call the act of rubbing noses together. It’s simply convenient, as it does not matter if her hands are free or if she’s currently chewing on something while keeping the same level of intimacy. It’s also not as prone to going south as a standard lip-to-lip, letting Chasca focus on the task at hand instead of checking out the hot stuff she brought along. Oh, and kissing on the trail usually involves the taste of dust and sand, so that’s one more advantage of her favored kiss technique.
Mualani is one busy girl, constantly jumping from fun to work to fun to work and then back again, meaning most kisses with her are endearing pecks as you surf or travel with tourists. She’s one girl very prone to changing priorities when there's an opportunity to do more than kiss, so you’ll need to reel her in sometimes - if you can in the first place! She likes licking sweets and savory foods like steaks (and other types of meat too) to get a jist of the taste and work up her appetite. If you think you’re in a different position, well… Food and love are both things she craves for, so have fun with her tongue and teeth all over your lips, face and neck every day. Her bites are quite sharp and can easily pierce skin (and break bones) which Xilonen uses to give you a cheeky hickey or two, just so others can see you’re taken. She likes sloppy kisses with lots of tongue - tongue that, in her case, is quite rough in texture - and the occasional lick across your cheek or neck, combined with her rubbing her cheek across yours. The kiss seldom stays an innocent act of love as you are just irresistible to her, which is the reason Xilonen gives you short pecks - better keep her lust under control, at least until she can release it back onto you and take a chomp out of your handsome face (please don’t run, she’s harmless I swear)...
Master Skirik is good at countless arts of war, but making love - of any sort - is hardly her thing. This kind of inexperience is a new and welcome thing. It’s a bit of innocent fun - she wolfs down something tasty and you have to guess. Rewards? Kisses galore! Do be careful as Varesa can sometimes pull cheeky pranks with wasabi, lemon juice or grapefruit juice to have an innocent poke at you. Kisses with her are shallow, but no less passionate. Why? Since Varesa’s diet includes things like almond shells, tough wheat and corn husks, a lot of sharp bits and pieces get stuck in her gums - while she brushes her teeth whenever she can, there is no guarantee that you won’t find something in there while going for a Fontainian Kiss. Varesa is also a big fan of belly kisses. It’s nice to know that you love not only her personality, beauty and muscle, but her plushy parts too. They make for perfect pillows, she’ll have you know, so give them plenty of pecks every now and then to keep your ruminant topped up with love.
