Okay guys I actually have a good reason on why I haven't uploaded in a bit....I'M DOING MY FIRST CRAFT SHOW! So I wanted to share my progress so far. Everything you see are my own patterns and I might be looking for beta testers for my Santa and Penguin patterns so stay updated if you're interested.

Reminders for the Anxious/Depressed Creatives
You’re more than what you make.
Your productivity does not determine your value.
It’s okay to do nothing sometimes.
Not everything you do has to result in a product.
Not everything you make has to be important, significant, or even good.
You can make things just for yourself.
You can keep secrets for yourself, whether it’s not posting some of your projects or not sharing your techniques.
You’re allowed to say no.
You’re allowed to rest.
2023 Updates:
Inspiration doesn’t cure burnout. Rest cures burnout.
People will wait for you; take your time and come back when you are ready.
It’s okay to scrap projects that no longer excite you, even if other people like them.
It’s delightful and excellent to be openly proud of your work.
Afford yourself the same gentleness that you would afford another creative - negative self-talk is counterproductive and frankly cruel.
Self-indulgent creations are satisfying to others as well; don’t apologize for your own pleasure.

You guys know how I said I wanted to make more clothing... well I took it as an opportunity to experiment with different, none yarn crafts like jewelry. Very fun experience if I don't count the times where I stabbed myself with wire

This is why I try new things. They're both a little wonky but for my first knit project I say I did pretty good. They're going to be my moms birthday present but I might just steal them for myself ;D
The grind never stops. Even after one of the needles falls out and you have a heart attack because 17 stitches are just left hanging. Luckily I was able to get them back on but I was sitting in shock for a minute or two just staring and the loops.
This is why I don't like trying new things.

BAM. I've been working on these projects and the baby blanket, and I'm so happy with both of them. I was so excited to get the sock done that I completely breezed through the crocodile. Both of these aren't my patterns and you can find them in the links attached. I'm working on the baby blanket, so hopefully there's more to come soon!

Finally avenging last year me by trying the socks again AND I GOT PAST THE HEEL! This year is starting to be the busiest one yet with the birthday and Christmas gifts, a going away gift for a teacher, a dress I want to make, and my first ever big commission, a baby blanket. It feels a little much for now, but I'm so excited to have more things to post on here!
Hello again! Sorry for disappearing for months, but I've done a lot! I made an overall dress that I adore, this skirt for my friends birthday, and lots of other gifts that I don't have pictures of. I hope that 2023 will be great for all and I think I might start making more clothing.
Heel bad. Me accidentally fucked everything up trying to fix heel. Unravel everything. Start socks again for birthday in August. This was before I fucked it all up:D
The cuff of the first sock is finally done! I had a few moments where the stitches feel off and I wanted to cry, but I think it looks good for my first time doing this.
First time trying to block to prepare for making socks. Maybe I'm going at crazy things a little to early in trying to learn knitting, but it's fine because even if I mess up I can still look at the pretty yarn. I'd also like to say thank you to everyone who has liked these posts and has put nice comments, it really means a lot to me :D.
