Hello guys! This is Siel. Lol. I’m writing this because of few reasons but mostly because I wanted to relay my thoughts and thanks too all those people I befriended for all those years I was part of the VIXX fandom. So here we go! This is going to be long because I’m naturally draggy when it comes to being mushy and sappy. Hahahaha. Most of you knew I do occasionally take breaks from being active on twitter because of school and whatnot. And eventually over time I will go back full gear on it. LOL 

But this time, I’m closing down binioui for good. Though I can’t specify whats the reason behind it but the general idea of moving on with life’s overwhelming expectations might be it. I can’t no longer afford to have time for this special thing I personally enjoy. I needed to reset my priority, urgently. This doesn’t mean I’m abandoning my love for VIXX, I adore them too much. The feelings won’t go away easy. LOL I hope you at least get a gist of my mind ^^

So yes, binioui will never be active again. 

Enough about that complicated life choices matter! Next is what me, Siel want to say to my fellow Starlight friends!!

When I first started twitter it wasn’t because of VIXX. It was for another group and for about few months I had no Starlight friends at all. LMAO I don’t know how I don’t know when exactly, I found myself posting translations for VIXX for their fans to enjoy. It made me so happy I get to help the others connect and become closer to VIXX. I was genuinely content I get to contribute to my own fandom. The feelings such as you’re needed in a community, it’s a great feeling :) I have no regrets for doing what I did.I love this fandom I love the people in it since we share the same passion so yes I do get conflicted if there’s anything going on within us. I tried my best to protect what I can.

Along this I met bunch of good people who turned from strangers into friends, even from friends into strangers. That’s how life goes anyway. I wish I can mention all and each of you!!! I’m serious!!!! We may be miles away apart we may not even know how we look like but Bruh I treasure you. 

The time we spent together, the memories we made, the well wishes we said, the pats on the shoulders we offer and the happy sad tears we shed together. I will never forget any of it until I take my last breath. VIXX and you guys were a huge part of my life, always remain a special place in my heart! I was happy to be here. Very very very happy I was here. I’m sorry for every harsh words and rude acts I never had the intention to cause hurt in anyone. Thank you for accepting me as part of your fandom. Thank you so much to all of you who always give me words of encouragement and moral supports whenever I don’t feel as good. I wish you well in whatever you’re pursuing in life!

Please keep cheering for VIXX. Please cherish them. Please protect each members. Watch them well on my behalf. Be kind to each other. 

Again thank you for having faith in me to be your source. It was my pleasure serving you, Starlights! I will miss all of you ^^ I will keep everyone in my prayers <3

해당 건의 경우 우려하시는 내용인 ‘신청팀에게 케이크를 요청하거나 해당 서포트 신청팀만을 위해 특별하게 생일파티나 생일 축하가 준비된 것'은 전혀 아니며, 지난 11월 9일 뮤지컬 ‘몬테크리스토’ 서포트 현장에 찾아오신 서포트 신청팀에게 고마움의 표시로 멤버가 인사를 전하는 과정에서 진행된 것으로 이에 대한 확대 해석이나 추측은 삼가주시길 부탁드립니다. 추후 서포트 진행 시 같은 오해의 상황이 발생하지 않도록 더욱 주의를 기울이도록 하겠습니다.

First, we apologize for the confusion caused to Starlights by the part left out of the announcement uploaded on the 23rd, and we will give an explanation about the ‘post uploaded on an SNS site on the 20th’.

The object of concern, that ‘the support team requested a cake or there was a special birthday party or birthday celebration prepared specially for the support team,’ is definitely false.

The member was merely conveying his greetings as an expression of gratitude to the support team who came to the “Monte Cristo” rehearsal site on November 9th, so please refrain from exaggerated interpretation and conjecture.

In the future we will be more cautious so that this kind of misunderstanding does not occur during support.

Additionally, due to the uploading of the misleading picture and caption, Starlights were caused confusion; we further identified the misunderstandings and rumors that were created as ‘acts of invasion of privacy’ through fans’ many reports; and we identified that Byulset members were involved.

Accordingly, from today onward, the fan club members in question will not be able to participate in broadcasts/events/fansigns with VIXX, will be expelled from Byulset, and have been informed they will not be able to join the fan club. In the future, we plan to take a strong stance in this same way against those who ‘cause misunderstandings and invade privacy’.

Also, in order to protect the rights and interests of our company’s artists, we will take legal action and deal strongly with the ‘circulation of falsehoods and cases of defamation’ such as malicious rumors and falsehoods online, character attack, and hateful comments.

Once again, we apologize for the worry caused to Starlights for the misunderstandings and conjecture caused by this case.

T/N: The post on the 23rd was in regard to the procedure for applying for support and relevant details. Support is when groups send food/gifts to the members and staff for things like birthdays and music shows, and musicals.

This announcement by Jellyfish is referring to a recent misunderstanding caused by a fan site master uploading a picture on their personal SNS. Seeing the picture, some fans did not realize it was from an official support project. In turn, some people took this as an opportunity to spread rumors and hateful messages about members online. We do not have any further information about this, so we (FY-VIXX) will not be answering any asks about this. Thank you.

Fans and Haters Need to Back Up!!

Woah! Guys, woah! I just caught up with the news about Ravi and the photo he uploaded. I log onto Twitter and come across a storm centring around the rapper.

Yeah! Take a good long look at this photo. Tell me. What’s the first thing that comes to mind? If you instantly thought “another dig at N’s skin,” then folks, we have a problem. I don’t write up posts like these unless the issue is really serious and have gotten out of hand. To which I guess you all know that is another issue that needs to be addressed immediately. Here we go!

Today, sometime before Ravi uploaded that wonderful birthday video, he uploaded this with the caption:

If you can’t understand it, this roughly translates to, “Wanted to eat eggs but why did N’s 6 eggs come?” And just like Ravi always does, he credits people. He credited N. That should instantly let you all know that N, Cha Hakyeon, doodled on Ravi’s diet eggs. For some reason, a great number of people including Kfans misunderstood the message and believed RAVI doodled on the eggs and compared them to N’s skin. How?

First of all, as soon as I finally saw this photo and the backlash it got, I was confused. I honestly thought, “But isn’t each doodle an emoji that represent each member? How does this colorist joke make any sense?” Then I realized half of the fandom misunderstood him. *facepalm*  If you all don’t know, VIXX have been assigned with emojis that relate closest to them. Starting from the bottom right it’s, N + Leo, Ravi + Ken, Hongbin +Hyuk. Come on! The great number of fans who know this should have recognized them instantly. Ravi was not making colorist remarks about N. N was not making fun of his own skin tone. The leader of VIXX doodled each member on the eggs and Ravi took a photo of them to show to his fans how funny or cute they were. What was the response? Here are a few examples: 

Ugly? Untalented? Say goodbye to the mixtape, DamnRa, Chained Up, Hot Enough, Beautiful Liar, Love Me Do, etc…

When did Ravi ever say this? I need the receipts, please. 

And now N’s stage name stands for the offensive word used against black people. This comment took the cake. Pretty sad that a Starlight (in the middle of that thread) even thought this was possible for Ravi to say when his greatest idols are black(Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, etc…). Do you see how one message can be interpreted in many ways because people misunderstand or simply can’t read?

Thankfully, there are some fans who understood and are just confused and upset as I am.

I’m sure there are many more of you out there who understood, so please kindly get the message across (share this on Twitter/Instagram if you want) if you can because this is ridiculous. Ravi does not deserve this.

Poor Ravi ended up deleting the photo because of a misunderstanding (not because he was covering up from saying the “n-word” O.o) and is receiving so many needless insults and death threats from both Intl and Korean fans. All because people assumed he was making fun of N. As soon as people saw the eggs which are black, they immediately thought this must have been about N.  I sincerely believe the fandom owes Ravi an apology. We messed up big time. 

Yes. I am the same person who wrote > this < a while back. I don’t want to be disappointed with this fandom but I am right now. I truly am. Sigh… :(

VIXX CONCEPTION THEORY 2

Trojan War

Taekwoon’s character trailer made me rethink about my first theory that CONCEPTION = TITANOMACHY. Now, I think Conception is inspired by the Trojan war.

Ken = Zeus

Hongbin = Prometheus

Hyuk = Hermes

Leo = Achilles

Ravi = Dionysus(?)

Hakyeon = Paris

It started with Zeus and(?) Themis’ (Divine Law, Greek Titaness represented as a blindfolded woman) plan to start the Trojan war.

In Ken’s character trailer, we see him sitting on his chair/throne(?). He looks distressed thinking seriously about something. Maybe formulating a plan. Then there’s the blindfolded mannequin. It could be Themis. (But...a mannequin? :D)

Moving on, Prometheus forewarned Zeus of being dethroned by one of his children. (Not sure if this is the reason he wanted to depopulate the world through the Trojan war.) And about Thetis (a sea-nymph Zeus fell in love with) bearing a child who would be greater than his father. Because of this, Zeus married Thetis off to Peleus, a mortal king. Some accounts said that Themis prompted Eris to start a dispute among Athena, Hera, and Aphrodite. They quarreled over who’s the fairest so Zeus ordered Hermes to lead the three to Paris, prince of Troy. The goddesses bribed Troy but it was Aphrodite’s offer that he accepted and declared Aphrodite as the fairest. The offer is the love of the most beautiful woman in the world, Helen. Helen is the wife of Menelaus, the king of Sparta. (The girl in the mv could be Helen.)

Paris and Helen then eloped. Menelaus didn’t manage to bring Helen back so he sought allegiance with the Greeks and then Trojan war happened.

Achilles is a greek hero during the Trojan war. It was foretold that he would die young. To prevent this, his mother Thetis dipped his body into the River Styx holding him by the heel. The ritual is to grant him invulnerability.

There’s this instance in Achilles’ life where he’s to choose between glory and life, and he chose life. In the Conception trailer, Leo is seen throwing away things in the bathtub(?). Then in the character trailer, Leo submerged his feet/heel in the water. These scenes might symbolise Achilles choosing life over glory.

As for Ravi’s character, according to some, he is Dionysus. I think I’ll go with Dionysus because of the appearance of wine on the table in Hades and the chalice he’s holding in his character trailer. There are also a lot of bottles, probably wine bottles, on his table. But the problem is, I don’t know where he is in the Trojan war story. (Someone help!)

Achilles and Paris

In Zelos and Hades, N and Leo seem to be chasing after the same girl. But is she really the same girl? Since N is assumed to be playing the character of Paris and Leo is Achilles, they weren’t after the same girl then. More like they both went through almost the same situation. While Paris took someone else’s woman away, Achilles had his woman taken from him. Paris took Helen from Menelaus. Achilles lost his war prize, Briseis, to Agamemnon who is the king and head of the greek forces. Maybe the reason it seems that Hakyeon and Leo are the same person in both Zelos and Hades. Both incident caused destruction. Paris’ caused the trojan war. Achilles’ caused the greeks’ defeat to Trojans, for a while. Then, Achilles is said to be killed by Paris. Of course, another god intervened they said. Paris is said to have been backed by Apollo. The thing is, the gods decided to end Achilles’ life because he had already killed a lot including some of the gods’ children.

Achilles’ and Paris’ fates have already been decided before they were born(?). Their parents might have tried to change their fates. They both might have went against fate. But they ended just like how they’re supposed to end, according to what’s been laid out for them. (Final Destination :D) And so the title of conception KER. Ker as in Fate.

So I guess the order in this trilogy is Kratos-Hades-Zelos. Kratos tells the story of how Zeus planned the Trojan war. Hades is when Helen eloped with Paris. Menelaus tried to get her back but he failed. This resulted in Zelos, the Trojan war.

OR

Kratos is when Zeus planned the war. Helen eloped with Paris. Hades is when Menelaus tried to get her back but he failed. Achilles lost his war prize (the girl Briseis) to Agamemnon. (Agamemnon who is a brother of Menelaus, did to him what Paris did to Menelaus.) Zelos is the Trojan war when both Achilles and Paris died.

This is so messy. *I have to finish reading a lot of articles. :D

VIXX CONCEPTION THEORY

Hongbin’s character trailer gave me the idea of Conception as Titanomachy.

It’s kind of safe to say that Hongbin is Prometheus. He holds a lamp (fire which Prometheus stole from Zeus and gave to mankind). There’s also that shadow of a bird (bird that eats his liver everyday). As for Ken, he definitely looks like someone with power and authority. He could be Zeus. The blindfolded mannequin scene could have something to do with the things he does before and during the rebellion against the Titans.

It started when Zeus was kept safe by his mother from his father, Cronos. He disguised as a servant (?) until he finally made Cronos spit out his siblings. He started a war against the Titans. The Titans vs. the Olympians.

The Olympians won the long war and as a punishment, the Titans were sent to Tartarus. Prometheus and Themis sided with the Olympians so they were not punished like the rest of their kind.

I’m still not sure about the other VIXX members’ characters so I don’t know how they are relevant to the story.

Anyway, if we look at VIXX’s Conception story as being told backwards, then it would make sense. Conception is the story of how the Olympians overthrew the Titans to rule the world (of how Taekwoon group won against Hakyeon group), as told in Titanomachy.

Kratos tells the backstory and probably the core of the trilogy. It tells about the war between the gods. Hades shows the Titans being sent to Tartarus (underworld). Zelos is what happened years after the great war has ended. There’s rivalry and chaos.

I’m still waiting for the rest of the character trailers. I hope I am making sense with my theory.
