I just love that there is no promise of eternal protection in Akagami no Shirayukihime, no "don't worry, I will make sure that nothing bad ever happens to you" commonly found in romance involving characters with very different societal standing and influences.
Nobody is blinded to the very real and potential problems because of their love - and so instead it's "don't worry, I know to expect issues ahead, but I am committed in my love for you" and "I know that with you, who grants me strength, those problems will be overcome".
I just love the simple fact that strength is not just unilaterally bestowed from one part of this relationship to the other, it's origin point is between them, in their union, and from there it goes in circles being passed around from one to another.
