i like amy very much.we see her so brave in the beginning, then we see gary attack her,and when she left after that i cried, because i know what it's like,to try to be yourself and get hurt because of it.i felt for her,i was so happy when she returned with simon.i think it's important to have a friend who protects and supports you,it doesn't make you weaker or less brave.i love amy,she brings so much light to the show.

The thing I love about In The Flesh is not only does it represent the LGBTQ community, it's also well written and so brilliantly thought through. The characters have brillamt dynamics and chemistry and I just love it so much. I hope that it continues as I need to know what happens and need more Simon and Kieren and everyone.

I think that what I love about the show is, mostly, the way female characters are depicted. It's refreshing to see such good portraits of many different women, all with their own aims, struggles, victories and failures.

The characters are all so human and really play with your heart and mind. They're complex but you can connect to them. They make you feel such raw emotions in such tiny moments that you can't help but watch more and more. not to mention such wonderful reprsentation of women and LGBTQ community #saveintheflesh

I love everything about In The Flesh tbh, and it's relatable (Kieren's struggles for example)

Simon Monroe breaks my heart, I was so crushed when his father kicked him out and he had nowhere to go. Seeing him sitting under that graffiti just trying to hold himself together long enough to figure out what to do... I just want to wrap him in a blanket and make his world better.

Thinking about In The Flesh keeps me up at night. I wonder where they will take Amy and if she will come back. I wonder if Kieren and Simon and Philip will find out and rescue her. I wonder how Simon will cope with losing the ULA. I wonder if Kieren will start to see a bigger picture than just Roarton. I worry about Philip after losing Amy possibly forever this time. I need series 3!!
Tell us what you love about In The Flesh!
I really, really, REALLY hope that Kieren's dad meant it when he tried to call Kieren back to himself by saying Kieren was his son and he loved him and he's still himself, because I don't know if I can handle another roller coaster inside his family unit, at least not one that centers around Kieren being accepted by them! The poor dear needs a break!

I refuse to believe Amy is dead forever. She can't be. It's not fair. IT IS JUST NOT FAIR OK? I need her to come back.

The fact that Kieren is shown as heroic and strong in character, whiles till trying to avoid fights. I love that the show gives us a hero who proves that violence isn't the answer and that Kieren's main desire is to do no more harm.

I love how, even though there's only a few episodes so far (fingers crossed there's more on the way!), the show manages to bring up /so many/ things without seeming like they are cramming issues into every nook and cranny. The problems all just... fit. They all feel true and real, and I just really love that. It makes the show very easy to watch and relate to.

For a while on Tumblr Iâd seen gifs in passing, chatter here and there, about some show with zombies. I didnât pay much attention; I really wasnât into zombie apocalypse stuff. One of my mutuals changed her url to something related to a âkieren walkerâ?? but I shrugged it off. It went under my radar for months. Eventually, I went back to college, and the first week I was there I started seeing more of this show on my dashboard. I had heard good things- that it dealt with a lot of social issues really well, and that there was even a canon M/M couple (I saw gifs of that). I was mildly intrigued but kept my distance, thinking itâd be one of those shows that was good but I would never watch. One night, before the workload had stripped me of any free time, I was bored out of my mind. I had finished marathoning Torchwood a few weeks earlier and my hype had finally calmed down. I browsed Netflix, nothing good. I got on Tumblr, and I happened to see some more talk about âIn The Fleshâ. I said, screw it, why not? Itâs only 9 episodes, they might not get renewed anyway. So I found it and watched the first episode. Damn. I could tell I was getting hooked. The next night I finished season 1 and got through the first 2 episodes of season 2. I laughed, I cried, I fell in love with Simon Monroe⊠the next night I watched the last four episodes, sitting in the dark at 2am in a state of awe. I was utterly obsessed, and there was no more. Needless to say, my blog transformed a bit- my icon is now Simon Monroe flipping the bird in a gaudy sweater. Immediately I got on board with the #SaveInTheFlesh movement, because there was no way I was letting the BBC take this show away.
I canât believe it took me this long to start watching. This show has everything and more. Itâs no use repeating whatâs been said by countless others, but; In The Flesh deals with important issues in a realistic way (and you should see the looks I get when I say that and then say thereâs zombies but itâs TRUE). The main characters are young, viewers relate to them and use them as a lens through which they can reflect upon their own lives. Each character has a story, none are just plot devices. Excellent writing, directing, and acting. Excellent makeup, especially! The whole concept of this show is genius and original, which is hard to find nowadays. To have a show that features zombies but isnât actually about zombies- itâs a beautiful thing. These characters have taken me on a journey with them, a journey of acceptance and love and discovering what lifeâs all about. I could never do this show justice with words. Let me just say, Iâm in a lot of fandoms and this oneâs made me more excited than the others have in a long time. Iâm ecstatic to report that since I started blogging about In The Flesh, Iâve had over a dozen people come to me saying they started watching because of me, and I feel good knowing that Iâve helped the cause- spreading the word to help save this moregeous show.Â
I love that for once, the sexuality of the characters is not the most important detail in the show. I like how they used a disguise, a metaphor for it.

I love how honest they are with the representation of depression, suicide, and the way the Walkers react to these. In the Walkers, I can see my family, and honestly, the confrontation scene with Kieren and Mr. Walker at the end of series 3 made me break down in tears - because in this, I saw my father and I. This put into perspective how awful it would be for me to do anything like this at all. Being somebody who has suicidal tendencies from time to time, I can't express how important this is.
