heads up, blog’s still under construction. please note that calamity's character is still in development and her backstory may change. additionally, her carrd is also a wip but contains basic information required to interact.

WARNING first and foremost, calamity is written as a complex and complicated antagonistic character. i keep it to an extent that allows for collaborative writing and i will always be happy to discuss their interactions with you. i find it important to state that muse and mun do not share the same ideas or opinions. secondly, this blog contains mature themes and references, including war, violence, blood, alcohol and drug use, child abuse, human experimentation, sexual literature / references, murder, death & similar subjects. as such, please do not interact if you are under the age of 18 or uncomfortable with the above subjects. for my own personal comfort, i do not interact with those under 21.

i had this really awful idea.

what if. instead of cal's right eye being the arlecchino type eye, it's instead flint's eye colour which is why she covers it? :)

i'm still thinking about this actually, especially if the eye itself got warped by the experiments to take on the more viper-like shape and she hates looking at it because not only is it flint's eye colour but it's been warped by her mother and it's a reminder of everything she lost and everything she went through.

I am gonna be back this week I promise!! I’ve been finally making progress on fixing my sleeping pattern and spending some time hanging out with friends that are on my timezone for once but I miss writing Cal so I’m making time throughout the week at some point to write. my brain is hyperfixated on tafe despite it not starting for two months so if i seem really sporadic right now, i'm allowing that hyperfixation to at least guide me into grabbing some lessons in microsoft fundamentals & learning some programming languages but it also means i'm just suffering massive writer's block.

i still check the dash daily though and i will absolutely try and work on stuff as i can.

we all know and love dog coded characters but what about their cousin, falcon coded characters. characters whose loyalty is fierce, but more distant, less physically affectionate, an unspoken but mutually understood bond. whose devotion to you is a language that only the two of you understand. whose fearsome appearance never lets you forget the privilege you hold in having earned that devotion. who require careful handling and patience to bond with, so you don't slip and cut yourself on their sharp edges. whose trust is given after you place yours in them, not before. whose dependence on you is less apparent but no less real. whose power is only equal to their fragility. who can easily leave your side, but will always return when you hold out your hand and call them home.

one of the uquizzes gave me something to think about and i think calamity would carry around a note containing the names of those her mother experimented on before and alongside her. once she had the resources available, she would've looked into those names and their families and made sure that any remaining family members are able to make ends meet, taken care of, and that any missing person reports who haven't been declared dead already are so that the families have a chance to perform funerary rites and grieve properly.
