the single greatest piece of artwork I’ve ever laid eyes on
You ask your parents what your number 1 priority in life should be: They say “School”
Ask your teacher? They say “Homework”
Ask your coach? They say “Your game skill”
No one ever says “happiness” or “mental health”. Why is that not number one?. That goody-two shoe, varsity player with straight A’s could be suicidal. Why can’t people see that.
7 thousand people can relate. Thats proof that this is a serious problem.

tbh no offence but im dating a rly cute person
“Like a bakery opens because a guy wants to make bread. A tavern opens because a guy wants to serve beer to people. That’s why people start businesses. It’s because they want to do something with their time. They want that enterprise to be how they spend their days. But from an academic standpoint or from an analytical standpoint or from the standpoint of publicly held companies and investment class and everything, the reason the company started is meaningless. All they want to know is the share price going up. And for people like me that seems insane.”

a world where people acknowledge that 99% of drug/alcohol addiction is caused by untreated mental illness and/or shitty life situations rather than peer pressure and a spooky drug dealer
