Hey I was Nott this weekend at Anime North!

I decided to really challenge myself this year for Anime North, especially since this was my 10th one. Despite going for so many years, I’ve never done a cosplay that needed full face/body paint or swords/intricate props. So I did both this year as Mollymauk Tealeaf from Critical Role. I’m really proud of how this turned out, considering how out of my element this cosplay was. I made so many new friends, too! (And got better acquainted with some old convention acquaintances.)

And thanks to @galileos-telescope so much for helping me out during this learning experience (and for dealing with me during the convention itself XD). We were walking around as a Caleb/Molly duo and had a blast with it.

These are just a couple of unedited solo shots from the photoshoot we did on the Sunday. A sneak-peek for what’s to come, as it were. Stay tuned for the final pictures of us!~

This took me forever to do but all in all I’m so happy with the end result. I need to finish and clean the rest of the coat but this is the most daunting part of it done and almost ready for Anime North!!

Progress on my Mollymauk coat!! Just a few more pieces to sew on and then this weekend I'll be ordering the paint and the last fabric I need for it!!

I finished it in time and I'm so relieved and happy with it. The only downside is the lights make this really high pitched screaming noise when I turn them in for some reason and it gives me a headache if I leave them on too long but otherwise I'm ready for the convention!!
