Chapter ten, Saviour

Heroes, the protector, the saviour of the society. The one who brings justice and protects the weak from the unjust actions of those who use their quirk in a wrong way. A hero's job is to bring peace and justice in the city.

A hero's job is to bring justice... justice they say. But what about the women who have been enduring the torment of their husband? Father? Brother?.

What about the women who have been kept in the shadow bearing the anger of the ones who were supposed to be their protector.

A hero's job is to bring justice...how ironic starting from the very broken family of our own no. one hero, Endeavour.

Todoroki's family, the house of memories, memories of abuse, a dead son and a presumably insane mother who scar her own son for life.

A misunderstood mother accused of abusing her very own beloved son, Rei todoroki, send to the psychiatric ward everyone misjudged her, be little her and said "She's not worthy to bear the kids of our hero"

But little do they know the abuse she endures, the scar of labour, the unerasable scar that was forever engraved in her mind and heart. No one knows, except the ones who saw. No one knows, except the one who raised his hand. No one knows...the dark secret of the infamous Todoroki family.

But was she the only one who suffered? If the protector of the city have such a dark secret then what about the citizens? What about the woman who lives under the torment of her husband? what about the little girls who couldn't raise their voice, silence by their father, brother and uncle and friends?

What about the girls who weren't only abused but violated in every way but never got justice? Who will hear them? Who will save them? Who will raise their voice and tell the world? The society will turn blind eye in that matter so will the heroes, they'd say "we'll give them justice" but what can an empty promise do?

What about the girls who have been murdered and raped brutally? The rapist was only sent to jail but the soul of the victim will never be in peace...I repeat who will hear the cries of the woman? Who will save the woman?

That's why she was born...the saviour in disguise, the one who will bring the real peace and justice to the world. The one who will bring salvation... that's why You exist...the real saviour of the womens.

"Then why did you strangle your wife?!" The investigator slammed his hand on the table startling the man in front of him before he started sobbing furiously, choking in his tears "I-I please...I didn't mean too...I never wanted to kill her it-t just happened.... please"

The investigator fell silent as he watched the man sobbed and begged for him to believe him...then what happened? Why did he kill his wife?...it was the same case as Yamaguchi Haruto....he didn't know what else to say rather than watched the pitiful man cry, his cries filled with sorrow and remorse.

"I never meant to kill her...I never did" he sobbed and sobbed endlessly, tears filled with regret and guilt.

'Nakajiro Kenny, was found in an abandoned hospital, sick and malnourished. It has been said that he might have been here without food for weeks'

You gently dipped the brush in the small bottle of nail polish, careful to not spill a stray of drop when you pull it out. Delicate strokes glided on your nails leaving behind a trail of beautiful red paint on your long and rosy nails.

Your hair cascaded down your face as you tugged it behind your ear and continued to stroke the delicate paint on your nails. After gliding the last nail you dipped back the brush and closed the bottle and waited for your nails to dry.

The room was one of those feminine ones, with pink tinted wallpaper and lacy curtains. The white pillars bring out the colour of the artificial flowers. And a fluffy soft bed in the middle, filled with pillows and plushies. All the accessories placed on the dressing table, slightly messy and some of your clothes are scattered in your bed.

You turned your gaze to the TV

"He's been found?....how sad..." You muttered as they show the picture of the malnourished man, being carried out in the stretcher from the abandoned hospital to the ambulance.

You delicately raise your fingers and faintly blow some air on your nails to help it dry faster.

".. now.." you got up from your bed after your nails dried, your feet hitting the soft carpert as you made your way to the window and opened it, looking down on the people passing by. Your lips curling up in a smile as you searched for your next victim.

"Who's next?"

THE GARDEN OF HEAVEN

She was one of those maidens, beautiful and alluring. With her long golden locks and ocean blue eyes. The gentle ray of heaven's eyes caresses her soft tone, as if she was standing in the middle of the stage bathing in the spotlight while people applaud her for her beauty and ethereal presence she displayed for them.

Whereas he was a peasant, a carpenter with beautiful brunette locks and caramel brown eyes, a mole under his left almond eyes. A guy of low status but has the heart of gold, full of ambition and determination, ready to lend anyone a helping hand.

They were the polar opposite of each other, status, personality, goal and ambitions....but as if tied by the red strings of fate. Despite the circumstances and differences they fell for each other, in the endless void of love and admiration.

He knows her love for garden filled with flowers, tulips and dandelions and a sumptuous mansion, with big white pillars and giant wooden door, craved beautifully.

But he wasn't a noble man nor he could afford one of those mansions but the determination was there, so he search for a alter way to make her his, his and only for him.

He wanted her to be happy, loved and cherished. He wanted to complete every wishes of her despite his poor status.

Vanessa, the epitome of beauty and seduction knew it was wrong for her to fall for a mortal after all she was sent to the land of living to create havoc and chaos, not to fall in love...not to a mortal like him.

She disguised herself as the beautiful maiden and wreck everyone's family. That was what she was sent for but despite knowing that she'd be punished if the words got out she'd be burned alive in the flames of damnation.

She knew that...but everytime she try to break it off, words get stuck in her throat and eyes softened at the sight of him, heart melting with love and genuine happiness.

He gently grabbed her delicate hand, slowly caressing her slender rosy fingers and brought it up to his lips, placing a soft kiss on her soft delicate hand.

"You're more beautiful than I saw you yesterday, my love" his baritone voice mixed with the flirty whispers. Vanessa chuckled softly at Theo's flirty compliment a small blush on her soft cheeks.

"You're such a flirt, Theo" she said, he only laughed and intertwined his hand with hers.

"Only for you, love" he grinned and slowly lead her out "where are we going today?" She asked as she let him lead him.

"To heaven's garden" said he, with an excited smile on his face as a child excited to show his achievement to his parents. Vanessa could only nod and hum in response, curious.

He brought his hand to her eyes and covered it, leaning to her ears and whispered "it's a surprise so don't try to peak, okay love?" She smiled and nodded letting him lead the way.

"We're here love" he whispered and slowly removed his hands from her eyes. Vanessa slowly opened her blue eyes and it widened in the sight of the beautiful garden in front of her, a field of tulip and roses, roses and tulips in different shade of colours.

A porch swing in the middle with a small pond in front of it, goldfish and koi carps dancing in the water. She gasped at the sight and turned to face him with a charming beautiful smile "it's beautiful!"

Hearing the excitement in her voice made his heart melt and he said "I made this place for you, love"

"You made it?!"

"Yeah... it's no big deal though...I wanted to buy a mansion for you but-"

"Shut up!" She cut him off, her eyes darting around the place with sparkles "it's beautiful!"

"I love it Theo!"

His heart skipped a beat at her reaction, watching her going to the pond, watching the fish then the roses and tulips, pouring endless compliments as she roamed around the place and settled on the porch swing "thank you so much Theo!"

He could only grinned widely and walked to her with a gaze full of love and admiration "it's nothing my love I'll make a mansion for you ..where you and me will...live happily together"

"Oh...Theo..." She tears up and fell in his warm embrace "I love you so much"

"I love you more..."

That night that forget about their status, circumstances and differences pushing them all away they shared a passionate love.

Vanessa knew it was wrong and she'd be brutally punished but in the presence of Theo and his love makes her feel like a human...and it made her felt strong, strong enough to face every punishment send her way. She'd take it all if it means she'll live together with him happily.

Theo wiped the tears rolling down her red cheeks and kiss it "does it hurt?" He asked warily "no" she replied and smile "this is the test of joy" he smiled back and captured her lips in a passionate kiss again.

The next morning when Theo woke up, expecting Vanessa by her side he found nothing. He quickly shot up from his bed and started searching for her...and he searched for her for days then he finally saw her in front of the garden, the usual smile and warm around no where to be seen.

"Vanessa... w-where were you! I was searching for yo-" he stopped when he caught the glimpse of tears in the corner of her blue eyes, "what happened love" he quickly reached by her side and gently grabbed her shoulder with a worried face "love...look at me.." he wiped off her tears and watched her as she slowly lifts her head to face him and said.

Theo eyes widened when he heard her words as his heart nearly stopped and his jaw was left open "w-what.... w-why..."

"It can't work out..." She sniffled and continued "it'll never work out"

"Why?!"

"...." She only stay silent and push his hands off her shoulders and walk away from him but he wasn't gonna let go of her easily so he chased her and grabbed her wrist pulling her to his chest "answer me! Vanessa!"

"You won't understand-"

"Just tell me! Did I do something wrong?! Please tell me! Please don't leave me!" He cried but she only shake her head in response and said "I can't...."

"Why not?! Vanessa please- I'm begging you please!"

"My....family is very dear to me" she said, lied. Knowing that demons don't have family "what does it have to do with them?" He asked desperately.

She bit her trembling lips and nodded "it has" she lied again "how??"

"M-my...they are very dear to me Theo... please...let me go"

"Dearer than I?" He asked

She fell silent at his question and more tears spill from her eyes as she shook her head again knowing she can't lie "no...not dearer than you..."

"Then why...why are you leaving me..." He tried to hold back his tears but it was too much, it rolled down his rough cheeks as he awaited for her answer. Vanessa felt her heart breaking in pieces at the sight of her lover crying she wanted to reach out and wiped off his tears but refrained herself.

"You won't understand" she softly replied

"Understand what?" He asked his voice breaking

"... you're a mortal.... I'm not"

His eyes widened again as he stared at her bewildered "w-what-"

"I don't belong in the land of living"

"B-but- you're rea-"

"Theo!"

He fell silent and so did she...

She slowly shake her head "I'm a demon... you're a human.. it's impossible"

"I-...I don't care...please...stay with me..."

"I can't..."

"Why not?"

Her eyes saddened as she close her eyes taking a deep breath and open it "because demons can't stay in the garden you made for angel"

"....but...I love you..."

"I love you too..."

"... Vanessa... please-"

"Theo...no...please...let me go... it's for the good"

His grip loosen on her arms and she took the chance to get away from him. His body sent stiff and all he could do was...just watch her leave..he fell on his knees as tears streamed down endlessly.

After that day they never saw each other again, days passed by, turning into weeks he was all wasted still not over her wondering if she had moved on. A part of him was angry but most importantly he was desperate... desperate to her back...so he started searching for a way to turn himself into a demon.

He sacrificed his humanity and made a deal with the witch that he'll never come back to the land of living and stay in hell. He agreed not worrying about consequences after all if he became a demon it means he can stay together with his darling lover even if it means living together in hell.

He did the ritual and sacrifices his humanity , falling down to hell like how he fell for Vanessa. But little did he knew...by the time he reached hell. Vanessa already became one with the flames, ashes bearing the punishment for falling for a mortal.

It was too late....she was already gone... forever and he became a demon.

Leaving the garden he made for her alone, in dust and rust....

Mikey, the only friend you ever had. The one and only, the one who's always there for you, the only shoulder you've when you need to lean on and cry your heart out. He was the only one you had, ever since you were young. So of course it was obvious that you love him dearly more than friends. But you never voiced out your feelings for him. After all you doubted he ever felt the same.

He only sees you as a friend. And you know that…you know that very well yet the hopeful part of you keeps thinking that maybe…maybe he felt different about you? Maybe more than friends? Maybe…more?.You were well known among his friends, after all he was always dragging you along with him.

Though you always had a feeling his friends didn't like you. They barely talked to you or answered back of course it was obvious they don't like you.

"Your hand is freezing! Here let me-" he said as he grabbed both of your hands and hold it in his warm hold in the cold winter, worry latched on his face as he warm your hands with his "you should be more careful next time" his small worries for you always melts your heart. It was one of the reasons why you fell for him.

His constant worries for you, his small act of service and gratitude. Your face slightly flush pink as he wrapped his scarf around you "here now it's warmer right?" You just nodded in response keeping your gaze locked on the snowy ground.

"Why is your face red? Did catch a cold?" He frown and touch your forehead making your heart skipped a beat so you quickly pulled away "n-no! I'm fine!"

"Eh? Then why are you so red?"

"I-it's nothing!"

"Uhm…fine… let's just get home it's starting to snow" You nodded and let him grab your hand and lead you to his house.

"It's all your fault! It's your fault that I got stuck in this stupid house with a stupid daughter! It's all your fault!!" Your mom exclaimed in tears pulling her hair in frustration choking on her own tears. The sound of breaking glass echoed in the walls as you covered your ears in the hope that the sound will fade soon but it did not, unfortunately.

Your phone started ringing and you slowly lifted your head and searched for your phone and there you saw Mikey's number on the screen you wiped off your tears and picked up the call mustering up a weak "hello" Mikey caught the sound of the weak tone in your voice when he was about to ask you what happened he heard the sound of yelling in the background and the soft sniffles that you were holding back "oh…(Name)…" He muttered and sighed "wait for me okay? I'll be there soon don't hang up" he said as he got on his bike and started the engine.

Another night Mikey saved you from your parents. He waited outside your place as you sneaked out of your window and got on the back of his bike as he drove around the outskirts of Tokyo on a cold night. It was always like that he always saves you from your parents after all he's the only one who knows about it….

Mikey threw the glass bottle in the wall and watched it crumble into pieces as he leaned back on the wall and fell on his knees, he was lost, completely lost. It all happened so soon and now…now you are gone ..forever…he grunted in frustration and pulled his hair when the memory kept repeating in his head.

The sunset was beautiful, the sound of the waves hitting the shore mixed in with the sound of the seagulls blended with the salty scent of the beach. There weren't many people today except for the two of you. Sitting together watching the sunset after a long day of farewell party you finally have time to catch up with him …Mikey kept telling you about his gang stuff and the bike shop but stopped when he noticed how quiet you were. "Hey?" He reached out and placed a hand on your shoulder you didn't flinch or react and just keep your gaze at the setting sun "(Name)?" He called out and gently shook your shoulder."hm?" You responded, he frowned at your dry response and retracted his hand back shifting closer to you "are you okay? Earth to (Name)? Hello?" He waves his hand in front of your face but you only nodded and slowly turned your gaze to him, softly replying "yes?"

"…are you okay?" He asked.

"yes" you lied with a smile, a weak strained smile "don't bullshit me" he scoffed and grabbed your face "I know your fake smile"

"Manjiro…" His heart thumped when you called him by that name he gulped and nodded "yes?"

"would you be okay…alone?"

Mikey fell silent at your question. "W-what?" What were you saying? Are you being serious? What do you mean alone? Were you going away? Leaving him? "W-what do you mean!?" He stammered with a slight panic in his voice and grabbed your shoulder turning you to face him "(name) what do you mean!?" You only smiled in response and said…

Mikey's eyes widened as he slowly let go of your shoulder and looked at with a wide eye and gape mouth expression his heart dropped to the bottom of his stomach as he heard those three words coming out from your mouth…

'I love you'

You only gave him a smile in response and stood up "it's okay if you don't feel the same…I just…wanted to tell you…before I go"

"(Name)…I.." You slowly hold his hand and help him up and hug him but it wasn't like those usual hugs…it was different…it was a longing hug…the last hug ..but only if he knew he'd have wrapped his arms around you and begged you to not go that day…that faithful day where he couldn't hug you back…where he couldn't find it in himself to reciprocate your feelings…that night…where you drowned yourself…

."AGHHHHHHHHH" He screamed in tears and started punching himself at the memory of his last meeting with you…how could he not have noticed?! He knew you had mental problems with all your family problems and stuff but he always thought he was there for you! So why! So why …so why …"why…." He sobbed furiously and hugged his knees to his chest…if only he realised how much he needed you in his life before you left if only he said yes and hugged you and kissed you and…if only he was there for you .. instead of pushing you away and silently walking away…leaving you alone in the beach…if only he realised how much he actually loved you before you…it was all his fault…

Now you are gone from his life, forever and ever while him? He stopped hanging out with his friends and stopped talking to anyone locking himself in his room with a bottle of alcohol to ease his aching heart.

HATRED/// PART THREE

You watched him approach you with a scowl on his face, the sight of him without his usual sunglasses and the pale moonlight bathing him was a sight to behold, with his magnificent blue eyes staring down at you...it left you speechless on how gorgeous he was, how effortlessly beautiful he was.

His scowl deepened when you didn't respond and kept staring at him instead "Oi!" You snapped out of your trance and realized you have been staring at him, drooling at him. Your face lit up in embarrassment when he caught you red handed "I- s-sorry-" he tilt his head and take in your appearance, wearing a thin short cloth out in this cold night.

"Tell me you're an idiot without telling me you're an idiot" He muttered under his breath, but you heard it and you shot him an offended glare "Hey! I heard that!" Gojo rolled his eyes and walked passed you "Hurry inside idiot, you might get a cold"

Maybe you were being delusional, yes you were totally being delusional. your heart race as he said those words to you and all you can think was 'he's worried about me??!!' the earlier words from Shoko rang in your head "He just wants you think he hates you" despite the annoyance in his voice there was still a hint of concern in his tone, or was it just your imagination?! either way you found your body moving on its own, turning to face his back as he walked passed you and the words rising up in your throat without your consent.

"Gojo!"

He halt on his track and glance back at you "Hm?" he hummed in response as he waited for you to continue, his hands stuffed in his pocket he fully turn around to face you "What is it?"

"...." You fell silent once you called him not knowing what to say "Uhm...uh..." 'shit! why did I call him?! what was I thinking!!' you internally panic as he waited for you to continue, he tilt his head as his face curl up in a scowl at your silence "Are you just gonna stand there and waste my time?" his voice snapped you out of your thoughts as you grow pale and think of things to talk about "W-well uhh..how... your..mission...?" you spluttered out awkwardly bead of sweat rolling down your forehead as an awkward silence fell between the two of you.

After a long silence he opened his mouth and "Huh? you stopped me for that??" his voice was filled with annoyance as he shot you an irritated glare "You really love wasting my time" he sigh and shook his head, your face lit up in embarrassment and you look away, internally cursing yourself. "S-sorry" you muttered and step back "goodnight" with that you turned around to leave, gojo watched your retreating figure and sigh again, tilting his head back and rubbing his eyes.

"Hey"

You stopped on your tracks when he called out to you and you turn around to face him, confused. "Yes?"

"Wear something warm next time, you don't want to catch a cold" the usual annoyance in his voice when he talked to you wasn't there instead there was a slight concern and his eyes were soft unlike those harsh glare he gave you. It made your heart flutter and you can feel the butterflies dancing in your stomach, "Yes..."

'He just wants you to think he hates you...' her words rang in your head again it made you want to confront him, if he really hated you or what Shoko said was correct.

"Gojo..."

"Hm?"

"Do..." you gazes down at your feet, contemplating whether you should ask or not, your fist clenching in your shirt at last you lift your head, your eyes meeting his ocean ones. "Do you hate me?"

His body stiffened at your question, caught off guard. He certainly wasn't expecting that, he didn't knew how to respond his mouth left apart as he pondered over that question. He wanted to scowl and openly say "Of course I hate you" but the words seem to be stuck in his throat, suspending the silence.

His silence gave you some hope that maybe Shoko was right, until-

"Of course...I hate you" said he, crushing your hope and heart. It was as if a cold bucket of water was poured down you, damping you with his coldness your head instantly lowered and your stomach churned uncomfortably but you failed to hear the uncertainty in his voice and the expression of regret and guilt ridden face he made after he voice out his feelings...it hurts him as much as it hurts you but he couldn't find it himself to tell you the truth.

"o-okay..." you can feel your vision getting blurry with tears as you slowly took a step back, your voice starting to crack "I see...goodnight" With that you quickly turn to leave, tears streaming down on your cheeks but he saw it...he saw the tears and the heart broken expression on your face as if he wasn't filled with enough guilt, his heart aches when he saw your heart broken state, leaving him standing alone at the hall realising he fucked up.

You didn't know why it broke you so much, a part of you wanted to yell at him and question him why he hated you so much even if you did nothing to deserve the hate meanwhile a part of you wanted to act cool and told him you couldn't care less so...why are you running away from him in tears, why does it hurts you so much? was it because you believed what Shoko said? she is not the type to go and lie so...why does it hurts you both so much...why?

That night left you both in despair, heart shattered, one filled with guilt and regret while the other with anguished and devastation. But only the moon and the stars knows what one was really feeling.

HATRED\\\ PART TWO

He hates you right? he hates you...so why does he have you pinned under him right now, bathing in the pale moonlight. His calloused hand holding your wrist down on hard cold floor, his breathing erratic, but so was yours. Your hair splattered on the floor, eyes wide and cheeks red.

"G-gojo-"

He hates you so how did he reached this point? Why was he fighting back the urge to capture those pink lips in a hungry kiss. Why? He hates you..so why does he have you pinned under him?! how?! what happened! how did this happen!!

You sat at the bench, watching the sun go down your mind stilled filled with the earlier interaction you had with him, it still pains you deeply. Why does he hates you so much? What did you ever did to him?? Your heart aches every time you remember his cold harsh words.

"Its pretty late I wonder where he is" The newfound voice startled you as you quickly turned around to see none other than your brunette friend, Shoko, like usual with a cigarette in between her lips her gaze was fixed on the sun and it slowly divert to you, her brown eyes gazing at you as if she knows your darkest secret.

"Is what you are thinking" She continued, her lips curling up in a grin as he take a long drag of her cigarette and puffed it out. Your body freeze up as she read your mind, like always, you wondered if she had the ability to read people's mind, you can't help but look away from her, gazing down at your lap, your fist curled up tightly.

On seeing your reaction her grin widens knowing her guess was right "Its okay you don't need to be embarrassed about it" She stall toward you and stub the cigarette on the ground, throwing it on the nearby trash can and sat down beside you, lighting up a new cancer stick.

"He's fine...after all he's the strongest"

Yeah he's the strongest he doesn't need your concern...you should stop worrying about him...he's fine...."Shoko..." you softly called out, your gaze not shifting from your lap. She hum in respond, waiting for you to continue whilst taking a drag from the cancer stick. "Why does he hate me..." the tone in your voice was weak and timid...you were vulnerable. She held the cigarette in between her fingers and look at you "Why do you think he hates you?" she asked.

"Shoko..." you sighed heavily and glanced up a her not before lowering your gaze to your lap again "Don't act dumb please...you know he hates me..."

The room was filled with nothing but silence after what you said, the only sound was her puffing out the smoke. "That's what he thinks..." she began her caramel brown eyes gazing at the dusky sky "And that's what he wants you to think"

You didn't knew why but your heart started racing upon hearing what she said, you finally glanced up at her your eyes filled with surprise and confusion, she look so casual after saying that, she looked so...matured.

"What do you mean?"

"He just wants you to think he hates you" She stated again with a sly smile on her face she tilt her head and her eyes swiftly glanced at you with a look that says 'I know everything' then she got up "Ah its getting cold! I'm going insideee you should too"

"h-hey! wait!"

she stopped on her track and peered at you "Don't worry he doesn't hate you" with that she walked away "Its quiet the opposite" she muttered, but you heard it...like she wanted you too...

It was late now, everyone went to their dorm room so did you but you couldn't sleep maybe because Gojo wasn't back yet? you peered at the clock it was already ten so where was he? you slowly sat up unable to sleep the concern growing inside you 'he is fine...he's fine...stop worrying...' even if you consoled yourself you couldn't stop your heart beating rapidly, the restlessness and concern eating you up.

Of course he hates you, Gojo Satoru the strongest sorcerer, the honoured one, he hates you he hated you for being weak, being too fragile and your silly dream for becoming a sorcerer with that fragility. he hates your goody two shoe two faced personality, you were too kind too soft too weak...just plain useless in the world of sorcerers...

So...why were you determined? so stubborn? why can't you just leave and live your life normally? unlike him who has the obligation to be a sorcerer whether he wants to be or not. unlike him you have a choice on what you want to be and how you want to live your life you can live it freely without the fear of dying, without the obligation to become one, without the risk of sacrificing your life for a mere common people who won't even be grateful, so why were you so stubborn?

That was all the reasons why he hated you, your fake desired to help people, your stubbornness, kindness, determination, weakness...futility... he just hated you as whole...but deep down he knows that all of them were nothing but an excuse for hm to hate you...deep down he knows that he doesn't hate you, in fact it was the opposite...he never hated you.

"Leave I don't need your help" He harshly brush you off going to the different direction before he stopped and brutally added, glancing back at you with sickened gazed "after all you'll be nothing but a burden with your fragility" with that he walked away, the guilt rising up in his chest as he cursed himself in the back of his mind but he was doing it for your own good maybe one day you'll realise your futility and leave and live a normal life...in the end he doesn't want you getting hurt, he just wants you to be safe...even though he knew he was hurting you with his own words...but it was better than getting killed by a curse...that was his excuse.

You watched him walked away with a heavy heart, his words hitting you like bricks you can feel the tears building up but you hold it back, biting down you trembling lip, your hands curled up in a fist, your nails digging in your flesh and you hold back your tears.

You never understood why he hated you so much why he was so cruel to you but despite all that you couldn't find it in yourself to hate him yes you hated his attitude toward you but for some reasons you couldn't hate him, maybe it was because of the strong admiration you had for him. Even though every time he belittle you something inside you always sparks up, the urge to prove him wrong, to be strong you know you can never reached his level but...you knew that if you didn't proved him wrong you are nothing but a sore loser.

With the new found perseverance to prove him wrong, you turned your back and left the hall.

SKY FALL

Dylan and Lucian

" Wow officer…” he panted as he gazed down from the edge, he was cornered now nowhere to run.

He turned back and peered at the wounded officer through his mask, a glint of amusement in his eyes ‘No one has ever last this long…’ he mused at the officer who struggled to stand up back to his feet after the brawl ‘Weak’ he thought as he rubbed the nape of his neck tilting his head back and stretch those aching sore muscles, even if the officer couldn’t beat him he was still impressed at how he had managed to cornered him.

“I must say officer, I’m impressed I underestimated you huh?”

Dylan wheeze in pain as he clutched his abdomen which was stabbed, “Surrender now you’ve nowhere to run” He gritted his teeth as he tried to stand up but end up falling back on his knees, the cut in his leg wasn’t making it any easier.

“Nowhere to run? Surrender you say, hah! Now that’s really bold of you” Lucian kicked the dust off his shoes and stuffed his hand inside his pocket approaching the officer “You think I’ll surrender in the likes of you? Who’s will stop me? You?... don’t make me laugh…” Lucian stopped right before him and sneered down at his wounded and battered state, his hand supporting him from kissing the hard concrete. Then something came across his mind as if he hadn’t beaten him enough, he raised his foot and kick his face.

Dylan grunted from the harsh contact and before he could comprehend what happened another kick on his back send him down to earth as Lucian stepped on his back with his heavy boots making Dylan gasped for air and unable to get up.

“Weak” he scoffed at him and pushed him down with the heels of his heavy boots when Dylan tried to get up, “Surrender you say?” he scowled and dig his heels deeper on his back making Dylan gasped in pain. He can feel the glare digging in the back of his head, burning his soul even through the mask he could feel his scornful expression, lips twitched down and nose scrunched up as if he caught the whims of a poor odour and brows knitted.

“I’ll give it to you, you’re stronger compared to the rest of your crews but…”

“AGH-“ Dylan bit his lip as he bear the pain of his enemy’s heavy boots digging deeper in his back.

“….that doesn’t mean you can order me around, no one dares order me let alone a weakling like you telling me to surrender”

“Know your place….you fool” Lucian glared down at him and scoffed kicking his face once more and back off. Watching him struggling to get back on his knees a sadistic glint flashing in his eyes “Pathetic” he taunted once again as Dlyan struggled to get up back on his knees.

Dylan looked up at him, beats of sweats running down his face and clutch his abdomen grunting in pain again. ‘Shit…I’m completely battered…I can’t get up either…fuck fuck- I’m losing a lot of blood too I need back up but I left my phone…shit…is this how I will die? In the hands of him?!’ Train of thoughts ran in his mind as he try to come up with a plan to get away or call for back up but how?.

“Ohhh~ look at you, thinking of a way to run away? Call your crew for help?” Lucian’s eyes went down to his abdomen, as Dylan tried to stop the bleeding. “You’re bleeding a lot too…seems like you need some immediate aid….” He strolled around retreating back to the cliff “But sadly there’s no one that’s will save you….AH! what a shame~ to lose a loyal guard dog hm? I’m sure they’ll miss you…” Glancing back at Dlyan who managed to get back up on his knees, if he continue bleeding like this he’s sure to lose a lot of blood and well eventually…die…

What a shame indeed a good Ol’ loyal guard dog, committed to his duty…strong…about to die…nut that’s his fault for blindly following his instinct…but deep down Lucian was impressed how he managed to pull up with him for so long and even cornered him…impressive indeed. Lucian reached out and caresses his mask where Dylan had landed a punch in his face leaving a slight crack on it…indeed impressive  but since he’s about to die…what a waste…he sighed and shook his head and pulled down his mask, revealing his deep blue eyes.

A shiver ran down Dylan’s spine when he saw his eyes…mesmerising…how mesmerising…

“Would have to love to watch you die…but I’m a busy man so…time to leave, send my regards to your fellow men in heaven…or hell if you survived” Lucian grinned smugly and stepped closer to the edge. Dylan’s eyes shot up as he watched the man about to jump off, ‘Is he serious?! No way! I can’t let him get away! No NO!’ Biting down his lips he sucked in his pain and forced himself on his feet ‘no no no! I can’t let him get away! GET UP!’ he screamed in his head and got up bracing himself and sprinted off.

“NO!” he yelled making Lucian flinched from surprise and twist his neck to see Dylan running toward him in his battered and ruined state. An amused smirk curling up his face as he spreads his arms like a bird opening it’s wing “So long mate!”.

With that he fall back down, before closing his eyes he gazed at the starry night and sighed dreamily the yells of Dylan falling in deaf ears as he closed his eyes and fall off.

Dylan’s heart almost stopped as his eyes flew wide and forgetting the pain in his body he sprinted off reaching the edge there he saw Lucian falling back his dark long hair flowing in the wind, coat fluttering almost…almost looking angelic… and Dylan didn’t knew what happened all he knew was his body moving on its own…

He was falling…falling together with him, his body reacted in its own and jumped off the cliff.

Lucian’s eyes shot up, astonished and dumbfounded, watching the officer jumped after him ‘No way is he serious?!’ and before he knew everything felt slow, everything went silent and he was already in Dylan’s embrace.

Dylan grabbed his hand and pulled Lucian in his arms, he had no idea what he was doing no thoughts, nothing just nothing but it seems that his body knew what he wants…Lucian was beyond shocked if there was a pole of how shocked he was right now then it’d would explode, but for the first time…he felt something…something different… he felt…warm… in his embrace, his hands automatically wrapping around Dylan as they both fell down…holding each other in their arms tightly as if long lost lovers reuniting…

"Ah! I'm so sorry!! I got grease all over your hand"

you snapped out of your trance when you realized your hand covered in black slimy grease but you didn't mind you get to hold his hand after all that was more than enough for you. "wait let me get a towel for you"

"Eh- its fine-" your stuttered words fell on deaf years as he already left to get the towel. you took the chance to calm your heart, the blush slowly subsided as you take in deep breath and gaze at your hand, if it wasn't for the grease you would have never wash your hand today.

"Sorry about that i forgot my hand was covered in grease here you go" he smiled awkwardly a bead of sweat on his forehead as he handed you the wet towel, you hummed in response and take the towel from him wiping your hands clean

"its okay" you muttered softly, the feeling of his warm hand still there on your hand, you wiped off your hand and gave back the towel to him, he tossed the towel aside and took the chance to examine you. he can just tell right away that you're a kid a highschooler maybe? and with the bag it seems you had just returned from cram school or you were on your way.

"Ah so" he sat down on the wooden cupboard gaze up at you "What brings you here?[Name]"

"Ah- well" you look away trying to think of an excuse why did you come here in the first place? nothing you just let your leg go wherever it wanted and you ended up here 'nothing just your beauty attracts me here darling' OF COURSE NOT YOU CAN'T SAY THAT! you internally slapped yourself and cringe at yourself.

"I was just...uhm..." your eyes darted around the place refusing to meet his eyes "I was just killing some time..." Shinichiro noticed your actions and chuckled softly, taking a cigarette out of his pocket "killing time, huh?" he lit up his cigarette and take a long drag, which you found extremely hot!! "I was surprised you know" he started making you turn to him "you always walked passed by my store and never came in so it surprise me to see you here today, by my side" he smiled at you....wait- WAIT WHAT!

It was as if a lightning had struck you! he noticed you??!! the man you had been drooling over from across had noticed you!! train of thoughts ran in your mind as you tried to get it through your head "Y-you noticed me? Me??" you pointed to yourself still not believing him. Shinichiro burst out in laughter as he saw your confuse look "Of course! how can I not notice such a beauty like you"

'this flirt!' you thought as your cheeks heat up again and took a step back "I-I should get going"

His laughter die down and was replaced with a hint of disappointment "Ehhh you're leaving so soon?" he pouted like a kid and twirl the cigarette between his long slender fingers. "y-yes I have French class so...I have to go" you took a step back and bit your lips a habit you have when you're nervous. he sigh and took a long dragged and puff out the smoke, glancing up at you with a gentle and charming smile "Well then see you next time [Name]-chan"

Your heart flutters as your name rolled out smooth from his tongue sending shiver down your spine, the hair at the back of your neck standing up 'Y-yes I-I'll see you soon!" you flushed and bow politely and sprinted off your heart pounding on your chest about to leap off from your body, you cheered in your head at your today's interaction with your crush.

Shin took a drag of his cigarette and chuckled to himself

The blush that had subsided earlier returned back but with much more heat, your face burn ablaze at his compliment and charming smile "T-thanks!" you stuttered out and clamp your hand to your mouth looking away, shinichiro found that extremely adorable and chuckled "You don't need to be so shy" he stood up and straighten his poster his charming smile still present on his handsome feature.

"I'm Sano shinichiro nice to meet you [Name]" his raise his hand and waited for you to take it, you look at his hand your heart beating loudly you fear that he could hear it, you gulped down the heavy lump in your throat and raise your shaky hands to shook his, his hand was warm...calloused, covering your hand but most importantly his hand was warm...and you didn't want to let go of it...you wanted to hold it forever.

You didn't care about the grease that got on your clean hand when he let go a part of you wanted hold his hand again...it was a feeling you never felt before...not with anyone...

It was clearer than a day that boys your age were shit, you hated them they were like dogs they need to be taken care of and oof! don't even start with their egos, ugh you just hate them but...men...older men someone matured, someone sensible, someone who provides a sense of comfort and security...someone like Sano Shinichiro, the former leader of the Black Dragon...

Coming from a strict family with uptight parents who self proclaimed themselves as perfectionist, you had to live up to every of their expectations and to top all the studies, and as if studies weren't enough they start adding more, French classes, piano classes, painting you name it. Everything needs to be perfect in their present.

One day on your way to piano class you came across a bike shop and there you saw a black headed slender and tall man, with a cigarette in between his lips, fixing a bike. You didn't knew why but for some reasons you found him insanely attractive, with his unkept messy black locks and dark eyes and something about his presence gave you comfort even if it was from afar...a sense of maturity, security and comfort reeking.

And from that onward you find yourself taking this road everyday, glancing and peeking as he work and as day passes you find yourself developing a crush on him of course you aren't an idiot, you have heard about him before "Sano Shinchiro, the former leader of Black Dragon" "The weak king" "He got rejected 20 times" of course you heard all of it and everytime you passes his shop you come across various people mostly delinquents, chatting and laughing, hanging out with him as he worked and sometimes some kids, after all he was loved by all.

But one day when you were passing by again surprisingly there was no one, he was alone and your body moved on its own and the next thing you know was you were standing next to him watching him fix a bike.

"Pass me the wrench will you?" he asked without taking his eyes off the bike and outstretched his hand waiting for you to pass him the wrench, your eyes widened in surprise as your heart nearly leaped out of your chest and without wasting time you grab the wrench and pass it to him.

"Thanks" he muttered and resumed on his work while you just awkwardly stand beside him and nodded your head even if he can't see.
