Heya, uh, every time I try to make custom eyes, this happens. Can anyone explain why?

Yo, sorry I disappeared for months. I’ve had these done for a but I didn’t want to load up my Recolor Sims 4 folder to take screenshots. Speaking of, I apologize  for the bad screenshot. Colors are much more vibrant in game, but the lighting was just weird.  Anyway, these are the Do It Your Shelf Cubby Set by @ravasheencc. I used @peacemaker-ic‘s Airy Hamptons palette for everything, and the shelves also use his Wood Tones 01 v2.

Which "this"? If it's for the bed stuff, should be in the same place as the original mesh. If you need my recolors specifically, you should be able to search "Volix", but I'm not sure. Most of it is in Bed, the ladder's in statues, and the rest is with its own category.

I have an idea !!! What if we, the sims community , make a big collab and create all those items and call it “The missed opportunity” I’m certain that this community will nail it 👍 Would anyone like that !!!!

So, I’ve found a new passion. @ravasheencc is a wonderful content creator who makes beautiful meshes. I’m the kind of guy who likes having a lot of color options. So, I’m going to be recoloring basically all of their stuff. I’ve tried making my own palettes before, but I’ve found that @peacemaker-ic is just way better at it, so I’ll be using their Wood Tones 1 V2 and Airy Hamptons palettes! 

Today, I’ve done the That’s What She Bed set, since I’ve needed loft beds for a while (and even more now that Tiny Living’s here). Next is probably the cubbies, since that will be quick, and then the building set since I use their doors all the time. 

I didn’t do the peg boards yet, despite them being pictured. Sorry for any confusion.

Sul sul! I made walls because they’re easy and I always need more lmao. Today, I used the wonderful Unsaid palette by @simmiesgalore. The walls themselves are an edit of the Basic Pastel from the base game, with slightly lowered contrast. I didn’t take any screenshots in game, but they look almost flat colored. The darker walls show the contrast a bit more, unfortunately.

Oh heck I didn’t get notified that I had a question. Personally, I use Paint.net for my recoloring, but I don’t really have a tutorial, sorry.

Hey, it’s been a bit. A rebrand has been just what I needed, honestly. Now I have models of all ages, so here’s Terrance modeling my new recolor of the base game long sleeve sweater vest! I used the gorgeous Knight palette by @plasma-tree! Lately, since I’ve been doing a 100 baby challenge where everyone is named after peppers (I work in a “Mexican” fast food place), I’ve been needing some nice reds, oranges, yellows, and greens. (If you have another palette with that, let me know!)

Sul Sul! So, uhh... eyes. I like eyes. They’re forgiving to make, and often look gorgeous. I used the base eyes provided in this tutorial (and mostly ignored the tutorial so my eyes looked different) and modified it ever so slightly to fit my tastes. The colors used are a selection of 24 from my new Spa at the Beach palette. They’re all muted and light, so if that’s what you want, then come download!

Hello! I’ve been gone a while, sorry. Stuff happened, and I lost interest in creating. Hell, I lost interest in the sims. But I ended up cleaning out my mods folder when the new patch came, and then everything has been (mostly) good lately.  Anyway, I tried doing a few clothes, but I was always unhappy due to the white pixels (or just pixelly look in general) that would always happen. It was frustrating, to say the least. I have a ton of palettes downloaded, and I wanna use them all, but it’s... annoying.  But have hope! I have been creating palettes using Behr’s color picker tool. Essentially, you can choose a room and a mood, and it gives you 5 colors. I’m working on collections for all of the moods, which brings me to this beautiful palette: Spa at the Beach. This one is made from the Relaxing and Calming palettes from each room. Many of the colors are very similar, and I’ll probably create a trimmed version (24 colors, I think. It’s the ones I used for the next thing I’ll upload) soon. Admittedly, this palette is also very muted, so it’s more suited towards Buy Mode items (or walls, of course, which I may make) than CAS items. I am experimenting on some deco items, and maybe a couch soon, so I may move more into that. Those are a bit more forgiving for stray pixels. Anyway, that’s all. I’ll be uploading something made with the palette basically right after this, so yay! Please tag me if you end up using this, I’d love to see how you all feel about it!
