Not so fun fact: Akane and Finn were childhood friends, they lost their first time to each other, never officially dated because they are a case of right person wrong time. He went into military training while she was really busy studying then working for Neo-Umbrella, so he was waiting for the right time to ask her to be his gf. The last time they saw each other was right before he was dispatched for the Edonia mission, where she confessed to him, fearing that one of them would die (since she was working a dangerous job and being blackmailed to not leave, and he would be going on his first mission to an active warzone). At the end he died with her name engraved on his heart, for the last time, thinking about her. That day, a part of her died with him, and ever since, a part of him lives with her.
