hi i recently got a couple of your prints !! they are so wonderful and i was wondering how you got the small corazon one in such a nice matte texture, it looks almost like a screen print. if it's not too much trouble, was there a type of paper or certain place you ordered the style from? they're so cool ♡
Thank you so much for liking them! The small Corazon one (including most of the newer prints/reprints) have that matte texture due to it being home printed on an inkjet printer :)
Most matte paper specifically made for inkjet should have this kind of texture. You’d have to go around and try which ones better suits your needs/price range.
Though I wouldn’t recommend you going this route unless you already own a good printer. I got mine for a hefty price (1k). It’s also a lot of work cuz colour adjusting takes a while… I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but I have to have different printing settings for different artworks. One setting for one piece would be absolute trash for another. Babying the printer for hours while it’s printing isn’t fun either 😔
If I have to do larger volumes/already thinking of outsourcing, I’d prefer to outsource. Tho for ones that need to have accurate colours for them to look good (e.g. the non-rendered styled ones), I’d print them at home. Though if I miraculously got way too many orders than I can handle, I’d probably still outsource. It’s all about personal preference in the end 🤔
