As Levi walked over to the unconscious and captured, Pierce tried to focus on the now freed man instead of the pain shooting up his right bicep into his spine. It was nearly excruciating the way the bullet lodged itself right into the muscle. He’d thought of using some twigs or leaves to dig the metal intrusion out, but honestly, he didn’t trust his powers enough to know they wouldn’t backfire and push the bullet through. That’d be just his luck, especially the way thing usually worked out for him. ”I’m glad to see you’re okay.” His voice sounded strained as he said that, left arm pushing him up a bit so that he could get a better view at his ex-damsel in distress. ”They won’t be bothering you anymore, and if they do…” he stopped, falling down on the leave again and grunting. That even hurt him. ”If they do, I’ll stop them again and again.”
"Save your promises for someone who needs 'em, buddy." Levi said, already annoyed with the heroics. His savior (if you could call him that) was injured; pretty badly, from the looks of it. Levi figured, he at least owed the idiot, so he pulled out some emergency medical supplies that he kept close to his ammo pouch and sauntered over. "Two things," he started, sitting down on the leave cross legged. "One: find a new outfit. Preferably something that doesn't look like it was made by a two year old." His fingers hooked onto the fabric without remorse and ripped off the bloody sleeve, exposing his wound and an impressive bicep to match and doused it gently in disinfectant spray. "And two: forget the theatrics and don't even think about doing something like that again. Those guys were idiots, they underestimated you and with good reason, but anybody with half a bran would've shot you in the head and thrown your body into the ocean without a second thought before you finished saying 'stop'. Being a show off is for people who can afford the boasting." By the time he had finished his lecture, the bullet had been pulled out and the wound was bandaged, held together by medical tape and a few pins. Levi got up and dusted himself off, zipping his pouch closed and, as if it was the most natural thing in the world, shot the unconscious bodies dead with a quick flurry of bullets.
"Now that that's taken care of, I'll be on my way. Thanks for the save, wonder boy."
