here’s an idea: stop fuckin living in places that have droughts? like, I have no sympathy for people in New Mexico or some shit complaining about water shortages. No one asked you to live in a desert.

I don't think this is really the same thing as when people in the Southwest who refuse to just put in a xeriscaped lawn complain that their Siberian irises keep dying or whatever. (I agree with you that that's self-pitying, entitled, and ridiculous.) You see this sort of thing happening in places that traditionally weren't prone to droughts, because of climate change, and it's not really fair to expect people to just up sticks when they might have roots in the area going back generations (like I do in New England, for example).

Nevermind that JK Rowling sucks and not a penny should be given to her but the fact they’re remaking the HP series when the final movie premiered 14 years ago??
