“ instant.”
he mulls the word over, eyes narrowing slightly as he tries to retrace where he’s heard this before. the instance realization hits upon him eyes enlarge back to normal once more but a frown mars his calm face.
“ it must be all those ridiculous chemicals humans put into their food. it’s amazing they don’t die from it.”
with a small sigh, an empty one that carries no meaning he inches closer to the other girl. turning so he is facing her with his back he bends slightly for her to climb on. muscular arms support her carefully so that she does not fall even if she were to let go.
“ well can’t leave you hanging around here. if a human thought it would be brilliant to feed you some of their so called medicine…”
a shake of his head as he begins to walk towards the room.
“yes, instant.”
she mirrors his tone, thoughtful and pouty all the same as she presses downturned lips to his shoulder, allowing her body to grow lax against the older’s with a sigh.
“i suppose it’s because they’re used to eating processed trash-i’m almost jealous.”
it’s almost wry, the way she speaks, as if there’s anything enviable about the former self declared “advanced” species. krystalia, to her very core, is undoubtedly fascinated, but is it a sign that these humans are better off than they were? surely not.
a million times not.
“i cannot even begin to fathom what the human medicine would do to our anatomy.”
pink lips pucker, fingers dancing along defined muscles of the older’s shoulder as her eyes flutter shut, a small shaky sigh slipping past quietly. it hurt, undoubtedly, the churning of her stomach registered as discomfort than anything. although krystalia (realistically) could blame no one but her own for succumbing to curiosity, she’s still going to pit it on someone else--lest her parents ever catch wind of this. speaking of her father--
“i just remembered father packed me a medicinal bag--can you take me to my room, guirennie?”
