ApppHarbor is simply amazing
I just used appHarbor for the first time an it is simply amazing! For the record I have never used git until 2 hour ago(my god how did have I worked till now?) and I didn't even have am appHarbor account 2 hours ago!
First things first. I am in the process of creating a webapp(with my new love Nancy Fx) for a client and wanted a simple and cheap way to show the progress to the customer, so I thought let's give it a go and see where it gets. I had in the past seen the video tutorial and it seemed easy enough but nothing prepared me for the magic of the real deal.
The account creation was really easy(I had to do more to create my email when I didi it). The app creation was was even easier and git push is all you need after that. I have to say though that I wanted to push through command line and for some reason I couldn't get the link to show but had to only the option paste it! After the forst push every push was a matter of moments and the overall experience totaly mindblowing!
Only bad thing was that appHarbor does not copy all assets to the output so I had to follow this.
Overall it is a new kind of magic and I will be using it!
