Can’t stop thinking about how D3rlord3 was completely calm and collected in dawtde even when face to face with the king like he types in lowercase, takes his time to reply, he knows exactly what to do or say, EXCEPT when Avery is on that platform he quickly loses all that composure he’s typing in all caps, frantically jumping from different tactics to get Avery to leave, he doesn’t know what to do nor understands WHY Avery is willing to go so far for him

it’s almost like the only time he was genuinely scared in dawtde was over losing Avery

Ok so basically. After Derek merges with The King in Yellow, he passes out for a couple of weeks. When Derek woke up with a baby in his arms. The baby being The King itself but significantly less powerful (it’s still an all knowing omniscient being but yk) and Derek with all the knowledge in the world—decided to run to Avery’s apartment for help. The two went back and forth on what to do with the baby and decided to raise it in hopes of it growing up to be “good”.
