In case you were wondering how are things in Puerto Rico part 2
I’m not gonna say what’s happening, you all know. But this is how we are rising from years of corruption and being played with.

SPREAD: THE PUERTO RICO POLICE ARE LYING 🚨🚨🚨🚨
Today, Wednesday 17th of July, the people of Puerto Rico decided to protest against the government. We ask for the governor to resign given that he’s lied to us, is involved in multiple corruption scandals, and has done everything possible to take from the people and give to his rich friends. He’s refusing to step down after a group chat that exposed him was leaked. During today’s, mainly peaceful, protest which had approximately 500,000 participants, many cops went undercover amongst the protestors in order to start conflict and turn public opinion against us.
This is a picture taken so you know approximately how full it was. This was early in the day, however, and more people kept arriving.
The crowds gathered in front of Fortaleza, the governor’s home, but police people and entire swat teams waited in full gear and prohibited the protestors from approaching. Keep in mind this is a public street. There were thousands of people conglomerated in a small street with hundreds of police officers in front. As the night kept going, some of the protestors, many think it was the undercover cops, began throwing plastic bottles and balls of paper at them. This lead them to give out warnings that they would throw tear gas at the crowd of THOUSANDS which would cause a stampede and many could get hurt; they didn’t care. The majority of the protestors kept begging those rowdy ones to STOP throwing things. It was a peaceful night. However, out of the blue, fireworks began BLASTING from where the police officers were, on the OPPOSITE side of the protestors. They IMMEDIATELY threw multiple tear gas bombs to the protestors causing a stampede as they ran away. They blamed us for these fireworks and said we threw them at the police, but multiple videos show how the fireworks were standing perfectly upright, in between the group of multiple police officers who conveniently had moved to the walls, as they began to blow. There is also footage of one of the police officers LIGHTING A FIREWORK!!! This leads us to believe that the police turned these fireworks on so that they could have an excuse to throw tear gas and disperse the crowds !! Tomorrow they will have a press conference condemning protestors for their “act” and hailing the police and governor as the heroes!! Please help us spread this message so they know the truth
Here you see the cop with the firework in hand
^ in this video you can see the fireworks and how they’re standing upright amongst the cops, their immediate use of tear gas, and how the protestors ran
PS: i’m not even speaking about the amount of police brutality experienced today because the post would be TOO DAMN LONG
