High functioning depression: A Guide
1. A lot of self criticism and self loathing. I mean we can’t do anything right.
2. We feel worthless, not good enough, like a failure.
3. Work feels so stressful every single day, even if we actually “love” what we are doing.
4. A lot of bad habits. Drinking. Smoking. And not knowing when to stop.
5. We can fool our family and friends by hiding our issues very well.
6. Only going out when it is really necessary, like work/school, etc.
7. Loss of interest in everything. Everything feels empty and numb.
8. Reoccurring illnesses. Cause our immune system sucks because of our depression.
9. Poor eating habits and insomnia. Great.
10. Headaches. Back pain. Muscle aches. Digestive problems.
11. Just existing.
12. Passing by.
13. Feeling guilty for being who we are.

Commissions!
Hey all! Guess who got shit-canned on International Women’s Day for not being peppy enough? (Oh, the irony of it all.) Well, having not actually planned for being out of a job, I’m not in a fabulous place financially until I can find a new job. I’m trying to stay positive about this and turn it into an opportunity to create more content. So do you know what I’m planning to do all day in the meantime? Commissions! Commission me and get some art of your favorite characters or OC’s and help me keep the lights on for a little while. It’s a win-win!
All prices in USD
Can’t afford a commission? Support me by reblogging

black mirror season 4
Savage
This is super epic.
He was obnoxious to begin with, it is true, but if he moves forward in this wooing as a respectful dude, he will text her something nice like it was fun to meet her or maybe ask her on a date. Mom will text him back and there will be a bit of confusion before he realizes what happened. He’ll be a bit chagrined and mom will probably feel bad enough for him being rejected to make him cookies or something.
HOWEVER
If he starts in with that fuckboy shit (asking for sex right out the gate, dick picks, asking for nudes, etc.), he will learn the ultimate lesson.
In short, he is only fucked if he fucks himself.
This is Greek Mythology levels of savage.

Believe it or not that stuff costs the company money to have and they need to ring it out to keep their inventory balanced. The first one is even accounted for, it’s just baked into the price of your meal so you don’t see it. So yeah, any additional sauces will cost extra.
As someone who headcanons Harry Potter to be of Indian descent it pleases me to think that his name is actually Hari, and that Aunt Petunia just Anglicized it because foreigners.
According to the interwebs, ‘Hari’ is a Sanskrit name meaning… Lion.
So yeah. Hari the mixed race savior of the Wizarding World.
Brown Hindu person here:
Hari is actually another name for Vishnu one of the three main gods in Hinduism. His job is protection. And he often comes down to Earth in different forms to save the world when the balance of good and evil is slipping.
Hari Puther, incarnation of Vishnu, protector of fucking everyone.
This is beautiful, and gives the whole thing new context. I love it.

recover from ‘burnout’ in five steps
1. reward yourself for working so hard. take a long bath with your favourite bath bomb, take time to cook your favourite meal, paint your nails. recognise that you worked hard and it was tough and that you deserve time for yourself
2. catch up on sleep. nothing makes studying harder than being exhausted. clear your schedule and have a lie in. even if you don’t sleep late, stay in bed and enjoy a guilt-free lazy morning
3. do something fun. invite your friends over for a movie night, take your dog for a walk. remind yourself that there is more to life than textbooks and notes
4. make a plan. start getting ready to get back into study mode. make a todo list, a study schedule, and a list of your deadlines
5. organise your space. declutter your desk so you have a clean space to be productive in. tidy desk, tidy mind
start again.

name one native american intellectual off the top of your head, name one native american actor or actress off the top of your head, name one native american senator, one native american news anchor, or an author or a tv personality or a singer or a poet or a comedian, name a single native american teacher you’ve had, can you? probably not
ok so now think of one native american cartoon character you know of or a sports team relating to native americans whether it’s their actual name or their team logo, or a town you live in or near with a “native” name bet a lot of these things came to you right away i bet you didn’t even have to think
needing native representation in media, education and government are not decoy issues, the commercialization and appropriation of native cultures are not decoy issues, the lack of native representation is institutional oppression at work
White people specifically need to reblog this, I don’t CARE if it makes you uncomfortable–that’s the point. Listen to Native voices about Native issues PLEASE
