Hey guys, here is an emotional letter from me, the writer of this entire project.
It was a very fun few years, i cant believe i’ve gained over 1k followers and that you guys liked my stuff. This blog was made to have fun with a few of my old friends, and like everything else, it had an ending of its own. I have improved my writing so much because of this blog and the dedication of you guys and that of my old friends. But sadly enough, I’m taking a step away and closing down this project for the next few years.
Not only because I want the story to keep growing and actually work on it in a more professional way, but also because I have entered a new chapter of my life. As most of you have noticed, my main blog has changed and is extremely inactive, I barely speak anymore with anyone and that’s because I got accepted by the college I really wanted to go to since I was a stupid middle-schooler. They actually liked me so much that they’ve hooked me up with a job at Vogue Amsterdam (Yeah, im fucking baffled too ) as a Desktop Publisher, and i’ll start with that in September this year. I’ll get paid and everything.
Next to that i’ve also lost a lot of dear friends, both by either it being my own choice or that of them. I don’t blame anyone, and despite being upset about it in the past, i’ve grown to accept it. So much has already changed for me, and they were all great changes, even if they were in the form of bad ones. I’ve forced myself to forget a lot of great memories I had with some of my friends in order to start my new life. I’m really happy with how everything is going for me, ,but in order to be really at peace I’ll have to abandon this project too. Even with the huge amount of people who are interested in this and have enjoyed my ocs on both this blog and my main/art one, the pressure kind of bothered me too.
I’ve grown a lot as a person, i’ve gained a lot of experience and learned a lot about the people in my life and in the writing world. Some of you may have seen that post going around about how i was scammed by a Publisher (I’m not allowed to share the name bcs of fear of slander) with a contract i’ve never agreed to sign. They want me to pay 15k to get out of the 1 year contract, so I sued them for it. I’m positive that i’ll win the case, so i’m not too worried about it.
I want to thank all of you, my followers on my main blog, my followers here, the people on dA and anywhere else. I want to thank my old-friends and my new friends for teaching me whats good and bad and allowing me to grow into a new person. I want to thank all the scam-publishers and the actual publishers who were interested in me and all the writers i got to know when i started this project a few years ago. It’s really time for me to put a dot behind this story once and for all. I’ll still update the character website but I don’t want to do anything with this anymore for a really long time. I’ve already copyrighted the project as my own and thats enough for me. Maybe some day i’ll do something with it, but not this year, or next year. I can’t believe that i’m saying this, but i’ve actually became one of those people with a social life and irl friends and all that stuff. So much is going great because i left so much behind, but i cant fully let go of the past unless i let go of this project too.
