KOTOR 2: We need to kill the Force (thus ending all life) because it's uhh, an "endless cycle" or something. Maybe Kreia's right to want to kill everything because it'd be better than... Okay look Chris is scared of the idea of anything spiritual existing and is projecting it onto Star Wars.

Pillars of Eternity: The entire plot of this game is so we can spring on you (in the last level) that the gods aren't real and you should all be like Chris' genderbent self-insert atheist OC, who's the only character in the game to be utterly perfect even by the villain's standard.

Pillars of Eternity 2: We need to break the reincarnation wheel that's keeping everything alive, thus eventually ending all life (really Chris, again with this?) on the off chance human beings can build a replacement that will totally work better than the ones the gods are managing. What could possibly go wrong with giving human institutions power to control life itself?

The man has some talent but it's all undermined by a phobia he keeps regurgitating into all his works. Even that might not have been so bad if he wasn't so on the nose and predictable about it. Keep this dude away from fantasy; I think hard Sci-Fi would be more his thing because in PoE at least he can't stop bringing up "science" as the solution to everything.
