Where- Where is Abandonware AU masterpost?

short answer, its gone & i dont wanna work on the lore because it was kinda directionless at the start, after tadc ends i may group all of my current aus in one masterpost. since after that point id move on to different things long answer!

abandonware... where do i even begin... i didn't really plan for a story to be told! i kinda made stuff on the fly and try to connect em later when i do make the story. which is fine most stories/aus do, but at the time where i was making this i wanted to atleast put a little effort into it then i got overwhelmed, then i kinda grew sour to it because i was just trying to figure out what to do with it!! i think the crucial part i missed was just having fun with it/fucking around more... i was out here trying to wonder if i could make a point & click game/rpg game of abandonware just to give something to my audience who (oh so patiently waited for more information for it than just base character cards) instead of trying to enjoy the process of making those games! i think what really harmed my focus for abandonware was me being a perfectionist, this goes for most of my aus too & my own projects, i have a whole google document detailing what i wanted to do for the entangled au (setting up a romance vn in the future) and writing a ribbun fanfiction for my 90s au which i. never got to LOL i do still love my aus & had fun with designing them! with tadc ending in like 3 days i'd like encourage fans of my aus to ask me questions at this time!! because now im far more comfortable with answering stuff instead of. just general silence & maybe ill throw in a couple of drawings ^^

How do you choose ur colors in ur art? Its always so pretty!

color-picking is the way to go!!!! i have tons of references saved for myself trying to determine colors (usually from shows/movies that have pretty colors) then i try doing a gradient because i love slapping those on when you color-pick often you just kinda learn what colors to choose from there on, its kinda like training wheels in a way

I am incredibly normal about your balloon Gangle art. I keep brainstorming how a ballon dog avatar would have changed the ribbun dynamic.

Like, instead of breaking her comedy mask, Gangle's ballon body would pop then respawn a second later. Yes, it would hurt and harsh the vibe. But it wouldn't have the same long term affect on her emotions as loosing her mask.

If Jax still insisted that she's "the sad one", he wouldn't have a clear-cut way of enforcing it.

Much to think about.

im surprised to hear this from you! ive seen your art float around the ribbun sphere thats caught my eye in terms of being inspired too, your art has such a distinctive bold style to it! with how you use black blocking for your shading, ive always like the loose but sketchiness in art! in times like these its that detail that proves your art is human
