We all know that Kerry big failed at fatherhood and is an absent dad who throws money at his kids and my take is that he never actually wanted to be a dad or thinks not being in his kids' lives is better for them. Either way, let's talk about Louise bc man... an absent parent is bad but a parent who uses their kids to get back at the other parent grinds my gears so much.

I'm all for letting children know of their parents' fuck ups after a certain age (like cheating and whatnot) but Ted and Kim at the time of these emails seem to be young enough to still be swayed by presents, so Louise getting their feelings hurt purposely like she did just to make Kerry feel like shit ain't it for me. Best case scenario is that she lied to Kerry in the emails, but it feels to me that the kind of person who would lie about something like that is also the kind that would actually do it as well, so who knows. But it personally pisses me off a lot.

It would've been so funny if V was a Kerry Eurodyne fan from way before the relic, andJohnny had to deal with Kerry posters being plastered on V's walls, V recognizing Johnny as Kerry's old bandmate, V stealing half the shit from that Kerry superfan and not just the guitar etc etc

it’s been a while hasn’t it ;) look at me just replaying cyberpunk only to romance kerry the 2nd round i love him so much. I wish there were more Kerry x V fics about the Phantom Liberty ending bc Kerry is happy enough to learn that V is still alive so rekindling the relationship is on the table imo with a bit of work, but also the way the conversation goes can absolutely make V feel abandoned and make him think that his relationship with Kerry cannot be salvaged, and I need that angst (with happy ending) injected directly into my veins
