Cronus kept playing, almost forgetting that he had company. He had that tendancy of getting lost in anything he was passionate about and he was most certainly passionate about his music. His fingers paused when he heard her speak, remembering Dmara was right there and he looked up and gave her a pleased grin.Â
"I'm glad you like it. Here, let me play you something else."
He looked at her and noticed how comfortable she seemed to be and it made him smile. A real smile that was unlike the big cheesy ones that he normally gave for appearance sake. Cronus cleared his throat and started to play another human tune. It was by the famous human singer Elvis Presley and though there were many great songs by him, he'd always really like the song "My Way". His fingers glided over the strings with ease as he started to sing this time.
And now the end is near So I face the final curtain My friend, I'll say it clear I'll state my case of which I'm certain
I'vwe livwed a life that's full I'vwe travweled each and evwery highwvay And more, much more than this I did it my way
Regrets, I'vwe had a fewv But then again, too fewv to mention I did wvhat I had to do And sawv it through vwithout exception
I planned each charted course Each careful step along the bywvay Oh, and more, much more than this I did it my wvay
Yes, there vwere times, I'm sure you knowv Vwhen I bit off more than I could chewv But through it all vwhen there vwas doubt I ate it up and spit it out I faced it all and I stood tall And did it my vway
I'vwe lovwed, I'vwe laughed and cried I'vwe had my fails, my share of losing And nowv as tears subside I find it all so amusing To think I did all that And may I say, not in a shy vway Oh, no, no not me I did it my vway
For vwhat is a man, vwhat has he got If not himself, then he has not To say the vwords he truly feels And not the vwords he vwould revweal The record showvs I took the blowvs And did it my vway The record showvs I took the blowvs And I did it my wvay
Cronus sighed lightly once he finished singing and gave a small chuckle. It was a song he felt he could relate to in more way than one and it was the first time he'd played, yet alone sang it to anyone before.
