That time April got possessed and seemingly killed Donnie.

Like everyone's reaction is heartbreaking.

But Casey's is what strucks me.

He's silent.

Casey Jones is never silent.

He's never without a quip, a joke, a one liner.

He enters every fight yelling and screaming whether in joy or in rage.

Casey watching Donnie as his brothers scream around him, with nothing but tears in wide eyes.

Is heartbreaking.

I mean the only other time Casey went silent was when he almost killed Shredder.

Imma be honest

I think Casey’s the only one had a proper initial reaction.

Like to me, he’s the only one who looks properly horrified.

I think the animators forgot to shrink the other 3s pupils to show their horror while Casey already has small eyes and dark retinas so it wasn’t as needed.

Also doesn’t help that the show can’t animate tears.
