out. okay guys, so obviously i'm really bad at being active. it's honestly hard maintaining blogs when i'm at school until 3 pm & then don't have the energy to do anything. especially since i just took the ACT & i've had a lot of stuff to do for school. i appreciate you all sticking with me. i don't know if i'll actually continue rping on here - we'll just have to see.

Now she's almost tempted to look behind her, wondering if the man is being truthful. But in all honestly, she's too scared to.

out. wooooo i just hit 50 followers! & i'm so sorry for not being here, guys. school is killing me & weekends have been spent sleeping. i promise i'm gonna be back soon. there is a slight chance that school will get cancelled tomorrow due to the cold which means i'll have a chance to get on here & friday is a half day so that'll give me more time to be online also. thank you all for being so patient with me!

“You dropped this.” He’ll hold up the item with one hand and offer it to her.
She turns her head when she hears the voice, eyes looking down at his hand as he offers her what she had dropped. Her wallet? Must have fallen out of her pocket. She reaches out & takes the wallet, putting it back into her pocket.
"Thank you," is her quiet reply.

She leans over to see what Nine is working on. There's a lot of different things up on his computer - none of which she understands. It's all way too complicated for her.
"What... are you working on, Nine?"

He didn’t know her past. He didn’t know the trouble she faced, but he knew that she did. Her self image was crushed by something. He grimaced and squeezed her shoulder, eyes drifting from her to the floor.
❝ — Nine does like you. ❞
She wouldn’t understand. He did like her. Nine just had prerogative, had trouble seeing past it. He was hard on her, and on Twelve for caring so much for her. It was hard for Nine, someone so cold and untrusting, to just give up those ways with anyone.
❝ Don’t take his coldness personally. I like you too. ❞
She let out a small gasp at his words. Nine liked her? He never showed it. She found it too hard to believe, given all the cold stares he gave her & the things he would say to her. Lisa always believed that she was in the way & he wanted her to leave. But Twelve knew Nine the best. She tried to take in those words & believe what her ears were hearing.
"H-he does?"
Or was he just saying that so she wouldn't feel so bad?
Either way, hearing that she was liked made Lisa sigh with relief. She brought her head up to look at Twelve, but now he was looking down at the floor. His hand had a tighter grip on her shoulder. She stayed completely still, watching Twelve with watery eyes as she managed a small smile.
"O-okay. I'll try not to... Thank you, Twelve."

He took a step forward towards her, lifting his arm and placing a hand on her shoulder. He admired her so much. She was the first person besides Nine he managed to trust. He smiled at her, sincerely. She needed to know she was valuable.
She looked up when his hand placed itself on her shoulder. Twelve's faith in her was the only thing that was keeping her here. If he was like Nine, she doesn't know where she'd be. All alone, most likely. Her eyes looked down at his hand.
"I just... keep screwing up. That's why Nine doesn't like me. N-no matter what I do... I screw up."
Lisa let out a small sigh & her shoulders drooped. She wished she could be brave like Nine & Twelve - do the things that they do without a second thought. How are they so brave?
