Her eyes widen in surprise, and she laughs cheerfully. "Oh wow! Nico, how sweet! Happy Valentines day!" She opens the box, and pops a chocolate in her mouth.

A startling sound, like glass shattering, echoes through the area, and dark tendrils appear from thin air before leaving something on the floor and then retreating back into the void. It looks like a gift box was left for Kate! Inside there’s a fire extinguisher, along with a note that says ‘Happy holidays from your mystery benefactor!’.

Kate startles, staring at the box before hesitantly opening it and...
