Hello, I don't really know how to properly pen down my thoughts but I just want to say that reposting art is a very disrespectful and rude thing to do. Especially if you don't even bother to check it the artist allows reposts!!

I don't think people realise how much it upsets artists and with the expansiveness of social media, so many artworks have gone uncredited because this cycle is constantly being perpetuated.

I try my best to be a nice and approachable person people can talk to!! But when people take advantage of that and start taking works I spent hours or even days on and so nonchalantly posts them it really, really makes me upset and hurt.

It's easy for you to screenshot/download people's art and repost them for the likes. It takes an artist so long to even find the motivation and inspiration to make art for people.

Please don't repost art if you're not sure about an artist's rules. If they have stated that they are okay with it or u have asked for permission, go for it!! If not don't!!! It's so fucking upsetting.

Please stop reposting artists' art to use for your AU accounts. I have it in all of my bios that I do not allow reposts. Choosing to repost is one thing but taking my art out of context and editing it into "fake tweets/screenshots" for your au is so, so rude
