On Purpose
I find it appropriate to provide a statement of purpose for my first written benefaction. To begin, I have identified three intents.
Firstly, I would like to document my musings and findings so as to perhaps unearth truths — of ranging magnitudes — about humanity. I admit that my current beliefs are but scattered fragments; thus, my primary purpose is not to impart any great wisdom, but to congeal my thoughts into a cohesive, operable set of ideals.
Secondly, I would like my voyage to be overt. Though I’m certain there is a large population of brilliant thinkers more enlightened and eloquent than I, I affirm that everyone contributes to the collective intelligence that humanity may leverage for the galvanization of one’s own beliefs and values.
Thirdly, I would like to be challenged lest I drift down a path of ignorance. Given my human predisposition to both hubris and foolishness, I will surely need the firm correction of a conscious public.
Let us embark.
