The Baudelaire Legacy,

Hello all! ☺️

I come with good and bad news.

The good news is that I have been off enjoying motherhood and it is so much better and richer than I could have ever expected. It's the highlight of my life and both Baby and I are doing very well!

The bad news is that yesterday for the first time in over 2 months I turned on my PC and discovered that my GPU is shot. I really don't know when I'll be able to afford a new one or find time to repair my computer.

So I probably will be on hiatus for longer with no real end in sight. It really stinks because I'm just getting to the part of this journey where I feel comfortable enough to start doing things just for me. But it just is what it is and it'll have to wait until whenever I can save up.

I hope everyone is doing well & summer has been enjoyable. Miss & love y'all sm!

As the twins grew older, their individual personalities began to show more and more.

Margaret, with her dark coloured hair was every bit as sweet as the heart-shaped birthmark on her forehead would suggest. She was quiet and considerate, and loved her parents and her sister deeply.

Harriet meanwhile, was far more wild, with lighter hair that was difficult to tame into the braids that matched her sister’s. She loved to laugh and tease her siblings, and was running around the house and the yard almost as soon as she could walk.

Both girls though loved more than anything to play outside in the flowers and the leaves, and to listen to their father’s many fantastical stories.

The happy couple is enjoying their new routines and all the time they have to dedicate to their obsession with one another, when they aren't indulging in their hobbies or spending time with family, they are indulging in each other. Poor Miss Mertha claims they are overindulging..

sigh...everytime i load into my modern savefile, my game either crashes or i can't send any of the sims home (or to work/school...it says they're "missing" it even though it's 4am...🙄)

As the weather warmed and the snow thawed, Rosemary and her friends gathered down at the beach frequently for picnics. They spoke mostly of music and the future of their band, much to Alexander's boredom; but anything was better than being stuck at home having to help his father on the farm now that Gladys was busy with her own family.

While Rosemary still had her reservations about Westley, they seemed to have dwilded some. Or at the very least, they had been dimmed with the blossoming crush she had for Rodney.

Later in the day, long after the sun had set, Thomas was finally allowed to join Maggie back in their room and meet their firstborn— a precious little baby boy. They named him Thomas William Bailey Jr, Will for short, after his father.

Gladys and Tommy settled into their lives together on the Mills family farm. They had their own nook to themselves on the south end of the house, complete with their own kitchen and bathtub. It was cozy enough for the newly weds, plus one more and they could hardly wait for two to become three.

For the rest of winter holiday, Anna still spent much of her time at the Butterfield Estate. Her parents believed she was putting together the lesson plans for her new position at the schoolhouse.

However, there was another reason for her frequent visits. One very distracting reason.

Geoffrey had an enticing way about him, and while she had heard whisperings of his frivolous ways, she couldn't help putting them out of her mind whenever he was near.

Perhaps ashamed of his reputation, Anna kept a tight lip about their moments together amongst the books. There seemed no sense fantasising of things like marriage, not when he would be leaving to study at Britechester in a few weeks time.

And besides, was there harm of indulging in a kiss here or there, especially with a fellow so handsome?

Anna, our heir, turns 18 and thus, the 1900's begin!

Following tradition, Winifred baked her daughter a birthday cake and though it made Anna feel silly, her mother insisted she blow out her candles and make a wish. As Anna had taken up a teaching position at the schoolhouse come spring, she wished for students who were equally as kind and eager to learn as the Butterfield twins.
