Joan Jett photographed by Mick Rock in 1983 - outtakes.
the thing about living with mental illness for decades is that occasionally your brain will be like hey you're useless and should kill yourself and your only real reaction is cmon man right now im in the middle of something
cats will just treat you as terrain
arfid monster got me today
i think people need to be comfortable and make peace w the fact that you are not always going to be in the right and that you are going to say something wrong or have a certain thought that isn't exactly correct politically or socially or whatever. and that the only way that you are ever going to move forward and grow as a person is to be open to making mistakes and being wrong and growing from it and just open to learning and changing your mind. and that people aren't always going to be nice to you about the mistakes you make or the wrong things you say and that's okay too like the reaction that people have towards something you say is not totally about you, it's about their pain and about what the thing you did/said brings out of them. and i think that people need to just get over themselves most of all like if you're wrong and multiple people tell you you're wrong you should try to at least see where they're coming from like. it's okay to be wrong. it's the insisting upon your mistake and doubling down that kills it to me like i'm never going to keep a person around me that never accepts theyre wrong or reacts badly to someone confronting them about something they did. anyway
more on this if you live your life in desperation to be liked by everyone because you have all the right opinions and you know everything and you're the best person in the room you are always going to set yourself up for disappointment and you are going to grow defensive every time someone approaches you with a disagreement and you are going to be someone who is exhausting to be around. you have got to learn to accept that not everybody is going to like you and you are not going to be right 100% of the time and that's extremely okay and normal and you shouldn't run from these moments and you shouldn't live your life afraid of being wrong about x y and z. disagreements are okay to have especially between friends. it's not the end of the world. it's healthy. idk just my thoughts. and i include myself in all of this ok this is something i have to remind myself constantly lol

i need to complain about everything and i dont know where to start
accidentally said "invasive thoughts" instead of "intrusive thoughts" today and actually I think I'm onto something. this thought does not belong here and it is harming the local ecosystem
