Inspired by this scene from the Torch miniseries https://www.tumblr.com/invaders-forever/817991581739139072 and thinking about how the absolute worst thing for Toro right then was to feel more like his life (and death) hadn't mattered. Oh the angst its so angsty.

Was Invaders 2019 the best? No, I didn't really love it and not my favourite run (my opinion) due to some things done in the run, but it's Invaders (and did give much oceanshield/shieldmariner content and Jacqueline did show up at the end but still) but I didn't hate all of it, one such thing being this panel of Toro and Jim.
