“ no, can you just LOOK at this. look at the pattern. it’s written in lati – ” and that was the moment that the police officer cut her off. telling her that the professionals would handle it. “okay, but the fact remains that YOU haven’t picked up on this. you happen to have m o r e information and resources than i do and STILL i managed to figure it out. can you just LISTEN? ” and so that was when she began being escorted out. muttering to herself about how if this was BEACON HILLS they’d listen, she shrugged off the police officer’s arms that were pushing her towards the door and pushed it open, nearly hitting the person o the other side. “ sorry !” she explained, though the annoyance seeped into her voice from physically being removed from the station.

going to a different school in a completely different place was a little challenging at first but sherri thought if she fell back into the same routine she had back home, things would feel somewhat normal. she stuffed the pom poms in her bag and fixed her uniform, “not exactly the same but not too different either.”

lydia’d said so many goodbyes in the past few years that she couldn’t even RECALL theirs, if they’d even had one. they’d never quite grown all that close, despite being closely related in most times. she hadn’t heard from most people who’d departed beacon hills since the moment they departed, but she couldn’t blame them. the town held horrors for everyone, and that thought was horrifying in of itself. “ here i was thinking the same. ”
