Another thing that makes me think the song was definitely about that experience: 

"Spotlight makes it hard to see the stars at night." 

I think it was her and Abraham that had a bit of banter about how LA was the city of stars but you couldn't see the stars. Then one of them was like "they're on the ground." 

BUT YOU CAN'T SEE THE STARS IN LA AND SHE SAID THAT AT ONE POINT AND SHE WAS IN LA FOR TGP AND YEAH.

There's a chance I'm nothing but crazy BUTTTT. 

there is a windy city reference in lights. 

windy city = chicago. 

chicago = michael.

In the dorms, it's not like she gets much space in the TGP dorms. Like. They're all in close quarters. She can't ever get away from him really.

Just. Ow. He's got a girlfriend and. Ow. 

"Every day has become my stage and I feel I have made one, two, three many mistakes." 

She was performing constantly on TGP so I feel it's a double reference to performing for the mentors and acting like she didn't like him, but she made mistakes on both the show and covering up her feelings. 

"Where things that happen here aren't told, cover up the truth that I'm not really with you." 

The first part-- they were being filmed. So their story was being told. And yeah. and then the second part is just /sob; 

"What is fair in this fake world of reality?" 

NOTHING IS FAIR. (also they were on reality TV so.) 

"If the high road is the road we must take well instead I've not decided we don't need roads." 

Screw roads they include distance and distance is what is separating Michellie and SCREW THE ROADS WHO NEEDS ROADS THEY JUST NEED EACH OTHER.

It pissed me off. 

What the hell was Michael supposed to do with that song?! Like, seriously. That wasn't fair. At all. 

And Ali? The country blonde? EXCUSE ME SIR I THINK YOU'RE CONFUSING HER WITH SHANNA FREAKING HENDERSON. 

And Lily kicked ass. I don't even like her but she did amazing. As did Aylin and Blake. 

BLAKE DID AMAZING. like. hlrkajdshf. 

But in my opinion, Ali should have gone home. I just. Ugh. I don't know. 

And I mean, based off the PERFORMANCES, Michael and Ali should have gone home. But Michael shouldn't have gotten that song. Because please tell me what he was supposed to have done with that to be able to stay? I just don't see what he could have done. That's not his fault and he shouldn't be punished for it. Like they said, he always looks amazing in the videos and isn't that what counts? 

It's just. 

UGH. 

I don't agree with them. 

I think Ali should have gone home first and foremost. I love her personality, I just don't like her voice the majority of the time. And I don't think I'd like her character on Glee. I think a lot of it is they want a love interest for Artie, and I think they'll use her for that. Or the bitch. Like, I don't want to see that. They were saying with Blake they needed a vulnerability, and now they're saying to act like Ali's doesn't exist? Sure, it still will no matter what, but I mean, they still want to make it seem like she's not vulnerable. 

And then I don't think I'd like Aylin's character. No. You've never had something like that on your show, Ryan, but look what you did to Sam. He is literally nicknamed 'Teen Jesus.' Because he's Christian. Sam is more than what you made him, Ryan, and I'm scared that all you're going to make Aylin is this religious girl who breaks every rule and just take it to an extreme. I don't like your extremes, Ryan. 

Lily's character I would love. She could be the bully who realizes she's wrong. Ryan would probably write her as that and I would accept that because that'd be amazing, honestly. 

Blake's character... I just don't see Ryan writing a good character. I see him writing Blake as a popular jocky, douche like he's shown as in next week's video. And like, I just don't want to see him as that. He's more than that. 

Michael's character, I see him as the new, unsure freshman who doesn't know where he's going, what he's going to do... And just... having a normal high school experience as a new, shy, unsure kid. 

I just... I don't like Ryan's choices, honestly. 

And tonight's episode pissed me off.

But imagine if when Robert said in the promo "they get to decide who is in the finale" he was actually talking about the fans and they put filming the finale on hold until half-way through the airing of the shows and during one of the weeks they took the top three fan favorites(michael, blake, nellie) and put them in the finale and Ryan loved them all so much that he decided they all win. 

it's a long shot but WHAT IF.

idea: Michael takes Nellie mountain climbing.

prompt: Chocolate candies. &; idea from that prompt: Blanna on Valentine's Day. 

Blichael Prompts: 

prompt: Michael is trying to be more like Blake to impress the mentors more but Blake is adamant about Michael staying Michael.

Honestly I'm still trying to figure out why Michael would randomly tell Lily she's a better kisser. Like. Did he just out and say 'you're a better kisser than Nellie' or was it like, during a group chat of who had been their best kiss throughout the competition or. 

I'm not saying that it's impossible, I'm just trying to figure out the scenario but all I'm getting are awkward conversations. 

Either way, I'm basing it off of Nellie and Michael caressed after their kiss like they didn't want to let go of one another and Lily and Michael had to be romantic so they were all '/intense staring; /romantic holding;' and yeah. 

(or maybe also lily was the better kisser on the glee project but michael has since kissed nellie again and she has improved. yes i like this one okay and not just because it means they kissed and it wasn't for a music video /cough; not at all.)
