Me after watching the 18x16 promo:
Me after actually watching 18x16:
Ok so I had to take a week off to think about what I’ve seen and what I’m about to write. It’s gonna be long and intense, so for those that will read it thank you and bear with me 🙏🏻
About the episode First things first, as soon as I saw that damned promo I had a really bad feeling. There were rumors among the fans about that weird Ellie’s behaviour in the last few episodes and her possible exit... and well, seeing that kiss made me even worried all week long. I couldn’t enjoy seeing them finally kiss. But I still hoped, I couldn’t believe Emily was really leaving. Not after all what we saw on screen, the development and all. Now let’s get to that infamous season finale. I have no words, I just cant believe how they handled it. I think if it was just a cliffhanger and Ellie’s storyline was going to be developed and closed in s19, it would have been acceptable in some way. But now I cant be okay with how they DESTROYED Ellie’s character in 40 minutes. It’s insane. Completely OOC. Like how am I supposed to believe that 10 years ago she had leaked a nsa classified file? The same Ellie who would analyze and work on cases while sit on the floor? That nerdy, logical, law-abiding Ellie? Even if I tried to, I could not believe this bullshit. Not to mention the enormous nosense ‘bout the “NCIS disgraced agent”🤦🏻♀But this is just the beginning of the amount of shit they wrote. I’d skip talking about the dialogues with Gibbs because we got no context, no motivation to Ellie’s choice so I literally cannot understand what they meant between the lines during their scenes. Just wanna say Ellie blaming Gibbs for something and then she does the same... But getting back to OOC Ellie: like how can I believe that it was okay that she was so rude, distant with the team? That we was leaving without saying A WORD to anyone? To Tim whom she was a sister to? And don’t get me started on how she treated Nick. She was so cold, heartless, which just isn’t like her. She knows Nick suffers from trust issues, she know his father walked out on him without a word TWICE, and the second time it was like four fucking episodes ago. And then what’s the point of all this development, the whole episode of “the talk” (which resulted in absolutely nothing) if she was leaving? And what the fuck means “I didn’t mean for us to happen” and then kiss him?! Purely fan-service but now what’s the point? What do we do with it? The kiss was also a very well-done one on screen too😭 But Nick was just 💔 and her leaving like it was nothing... simply unbelievable. About Emily exit I can understand wanting out after many years. I dont know about her personal life, but I just cant picture that she had a reason to leave. Not after being so close to the show ending. Not after all that happened during s18. Not after seeing how she was excited talking about the season and the ellick development during the Instagram live for the 400th episode with Wilmer. She seemed so satisfyed and truly felt like she was the first ellick shipper. The big questions: did she decide it after wrapping the season or not? It could be. I hope Ellie’s storyline was supposed to be continued in s19. I refused to believe that was the send-off to a beloved character written knowing in advance she would leave. Better change your job in case. Did something happen behind the scenes for her to leave? I really dont know, surely the silence from Wilmer above all is so inexplicable. Zero stories about it, zero stories about the finale. So so strange. Maybe he truly did not know she was leaving, but then again to me it seems impossible he didnt know. I also think this was a unique case of a sudden and not announced exit of a such important regular cast member in the history of this show... had I known it some time before I would have prepared myself and not deceive myself for so long (lol like it was possible). to be continued in the next post...
... Final conclusions I very much hope the writers will understand what a clusterfuck this episode turned out to be. The damage it has made. I think I’m still in denial and think blissfully that she will return to some point in s19 to fix that fucking storyline. I highly doubt it though. I surely hope that one day, before the very end of the show, they will bring her back to give Ellick a happy ending, something like Tiva. Obv Tiva’s ending wasn’t perfect, but still it was something. I also think that we will never really find out something about Emily’s exit, I dont think she will give interviews anytime soon. Had she wanted, she would have already done it. Lastly, i want to do a big shout-out to @onlyhereforellick and @torresandbishop for their amazing work in these last few years. I made this account for Ellick two years ago and have been following them since then. Even if I hurt, even if every day when I think about Ellie and Ellick i get devastated and ask myself why I had to get so attached to fictional characters and why it had to end like this, i will not stop following them. Surely i wont be active anymore with gifsets and wont watch NCIS anymore at the current conditions though. But they deserve better. We all deserve better. Ellick deserves better. And I hope one day we will get it and i hope that one day i will be able to rewatch ellick scenes without feeling all this pain and remember the happy times, but that time is still far away. Thanks to ya’ll 🙏🏻❤️ PS: Wilmer, my dear, at this point I truly hope you weren’t aware of emily exit. This was a finale that a loyal audience deserves? Like what? A fan-service kiss right? A complete destruction of a long character + relationship development? You said that 🤷🏻♀️

BUT LIKE WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED IN THE LAST 10 MINUTES?!?
I CANT PROCESS IT. I CANT WRAP MY HEAD AROUND IT.
NOT ONLY IS SHE LEAVING, BUT ALSO IN A SHITTY WAY.
ELLIE DESERVED BETTER. NICK DESERVED BETTER.
ELLIE WAS NOT THE ELLIE WE HAVE KNOWN FOR ALL OF THESE YEARS.
FUCK NCIS ‼️
Just saw the episode and read Emily’s post.
I just cant believe it.
My ride with NCIS ends now.
I just cant find the words. I dont get it.
What’s the point of all of this. Even no signs from Wilmer, i really cant 💔
I enjoyed sharing this blog with you. Thank you
If any one of you lost any one of you, would you just go home and cry on your couch?
So guys... like all of you i was hugely caught up in the excitement seeing the kiss.
But this was never a good sign for the female characters. Plus this whole Odette thing, Ellie acting weird, her strange talk with Gibbs, that phone call in the bullpen, last episode saying about being resistant to change...
Guys... i have a really bad feeling. So bad that i cant be really joyful for the kiss.
Just wanna say that if Emily/Ellie is really leaving, I won’t watch the show anymore. 🥺😞I could not take it.
PS Wilmer also said about the season finale “Grab your tissues” I AM SO SCARED

Talking in Gibbs’ basement means big conversations
18x16 NCIS ~ Rule 91
Ellick angst🔥🔥 Discussing outside of Odette/Ziva cabin. Will Nick be upset?
And Ellie and Gibbs talking in his basement?🥺 like a father and daughter relationship

Look at Ellie🔥🔥
Tonight here in Italy my fav episode airs in prime time: 18x06 🔥🔥 1mm
I wonder how the “I’m not okay with you getting blown up” translation is gonna sound like 😅
some thoughts about last ep (18x14)
I just love them you know. I had litterally made this account to pour out my love for Ellick. I loved the dynamics, not just Ellick and their flirting and awkwardness and smirks, but also Kasie and Jimmy and all the conversations about them shipping. Dont get me wrong, I loved this ep, I loved ellick. I would give it a 10/10 BUT
I’M SO SICK of this trope that ncis has of never let us see the important stuff, romantic stuff and fundamental dialogues. It’s like they have this kind of sick reputation WELL GUESS WHAT THATS ENOUGH. ITS NOT COOL ANYMORE. IT’S THE SAME OLD SH*T. WE WANT TO SEE ON SCREEN YOU LAZY WRITERS. OFF SCREEN IS NOT AN OPTION. AND NEITHER IS JUMPING FROM AN EPISODE TO ANOTHER ERASING WHAT HAPPENED IN THE PREVIOUS ONE.
But like i dont understand... why NCIS LA has not all of these problems when it comes to romantic relationships?
As for what Wilmer said ‘bout Ellick here’s what I think: for me this was the ep where Nick and Ellie would “come to a crossroads and would have to be honest about they are to each other”. You know, THE TALK. Which obv we haven’t seen🤬 😡 Was this the big moment they were going to experience? Could be. Wilmer also said that in the season finale we will see things that fans have been dying to see and we wil get answers to many of the questions. We have to hope that all of this has something to do with Ellick. It would also be appreciated if during next episode we could get some references/clues to understand how the talk went.
Okay, Nick. So... ever since, uh, we were in that jail cell together, um...
You know, I have someone who's really special to me. And I trust him with my life. And... if he ever asked me to do something to help him, I would. I would in, like, a heartbeat.
Half of these guys that I work with, they wouldn’t understand love if it smacked ‘em in the face.
