“Time for a bath, Kiara.” The lioness spoke, leaning down to the cub’s level. Her teeth grasped onto the cub’s scruff, lifting her up and setting her down in front of her. Nala’s paws cupped the cub, beginning to lick her head.

   ╳ ┆ ❀  Cue a sigh of EXASPERATION on the cub’s part. She didn’t want a bath right now. She wanted to play ! However, she unfortunately wasn’t left with very much of a choice seeing as she was already picked up by the scruff within the blink of an eye by her mother & placed at the paws of her.

     ‘ Oof ! But mooom --- Mom ! I don’t wanna take a bath right now ! ‘

“You would guess correctly.”

He couldn’t help but smirk feeling her return his nudge. Keeping near her, he tilted his head in wonder over her comment. Just what did she have in mind to tell him? Kovu let out a soft chuckle.

“You have me curious, so yes.”

  Continuing to giggle, she smiles brightly at the love of her life, giving a few blinks as she prepares herself. She had been rehearsing this for quite some time now actually & she was certain that he would be nothing but filled with joy just as she was.

‘  Well, do you remember saying we should start a Pride of our own ? We’re gonna have a cub, Kovu ! Isn’t it wonderful ? ‘

  there’s relief as the creature doesn’t seem to be on the attack. as she heads over rikku’s all too curious and the noises it makes cause her to smile a bit. lithe frame kneeling down to pet the small animal’s head gently,  ❛ and here i thought you were gonna kill me, ❜ there’s a small laugh,  ❛ you’re too cute! ❜

        ╳ ┆ ❀  It doesn’t take very long for the young cub’s ears to perk up upon seeing it best fit to sniff her every so often in between the petting she had been receiving. It was only what was natural after all. Kiara didn’t sense any sign of DANGER & was only all too happy to initiate some playtime. Swiftly, does she attempt to take a hold of the foreign object. Or at least paw at it a bit.
