MAMBE & DANOCHILANGOMAMBE was born in Colombia, but has spent many years of her life in Sweden and Denmark. She started making music in Copenhagen when she moved to Denmark some years ago. It was Beatsters (Reggaeton) that made her explore her musical universe. She has been the front singer of the reggae band Voodoom for many years and has an infinite number of gigs behind her on danish stages as well as foreign stages. You can see her in many different constellations, she has guested bands as Patchanga, Juan Pino y Quemando Palabras, Trypical Cumbia, Kinga & the Reggaelution, Desarme and many more...The last few years, she has being working with Dj Zulu and Spöket (swedish singer) and together they managed to deliver a great show with great rhythms and most important of everything an honest expression.She offers an explosive show, where you'll travel from roots reggae to dancehall and cumbia. Anything can happen when she is on stage. She always has a surprise up her sleeve and has been well known in the Copenhagen underground scene for many years. She sings in spanish, swedish and english, and her lyrics are filled with messages about finding yourself in the chaos we live in and try to do something to change other people's lives, but, above all, it is a question of finding your own happiness and never accept injustice.DANOCHILANGOBorn in Mexico and settled in Denmark for more than half of his life, Danochilango has a very wide influence of music genres and styles, making him a very eclectic DJ/Producer. His music is mainly bass oriented: from balkan to dub, from bhangra to cumbia or from dancehall to son jarocho, he's always trying to mash and mix styles experimenting with his large collection of world instruments, as well as trying to discover new musical genres by combining traditional music from any part of the world, trying to keep the organic feeling of acoustic instruments but also adding a touch of electronic synths or beats that would only enhance the soundscape, soul and groove of that creation.Danochilango has shared stage with artists such as: Celso Pina, Shantel, Che Sudaka, Panteon Rococo, Copia Doble Systema, Daniel Haaksman, Bomba Estereo and Systema Solar to mention some.Mambe and Danochilango first met when the Mexican acordeón king, Celso Piña, was giving a concert in Copenhagen in the maj 2014. They joined forces and made a few songs for the occasion. Those songs will be available on EP this spring.

MAMBE nació en Colombia pero ha vivido durante mucho años entre Suecia y Dinamarca. Ella comenzó a hacer música en Copenhage cuando se movió a Dinamarca hace algunos años y fue con los Beatsters (Reggaetón) que ella empezó a explorar su universo musical. Ella fue la cantante principal por muchos años en la banda de Reggae “Voodoom” y ha participado en una innumerable cantidad de conciertos y tocadas tanto en escenarios en Dinamarca como en el extranjero. A Mambe la puedes encontrar en diferentes constelaciones, ha sido invitada a cantar con bandas como Patchanga, Juan Pino y Quemando Palabras, Trypical Cumbia, Kinga & the Reggaelution, Desarme y muchas otras…
En los últimos años ha estado trabajando con DJ Zulu y Spöket (cantante sueco) y juntos han logrado presentar un gran espectáculo con muy buenos ritmos pero sobre todo con una expresión honesta.
En sus presentaciones ella tiene una presencia explosiva tanto en su persona como en sus letras y te hace viajar desde el roots reggae hasta la cumbia y el dancehall, cualquier cosa puede suceder con ella en el escenario. Ella siempre tiene una sorpresa debajo de la manga y ya es conocida en la escena underground de Copenhague por varios años. Mambe canta en español, sueco e inglés, y sus letras están llenas de mensajes acerca de encontrarse a uno mismo dentro del caos en que vivimos tratando de cambiar y ayudar a otras personas, pero sobre todo, hay que encontrar su misma felicidad y nunca aceptar la injusticia.
Nacido en México pero habiendo residido más de la mitad de su vida en Dinamarca, Danochilango tiene una influencia muy variada de géneros y estilos musicales, haciéndolo un DJ/Productor enormemente ecléctico. Su música se puede decir, es orientada en el global bass: de Balkán a Dub, de Bhangra a Cumbia o del Dancehall al Son Jarocho, siempre intentando mezclar estilos y experimentando con su gran colección de instrumentos musicales de diversas partes del mundo, así como intentando descubrir nuevos géneros, combinando música tradicional, pero tratando de mantener el sentido orgánico y acústico de la instrumentación , y al mismo tiempo, agregando un toque de electrónica, ya sea un sintetizador o un ritmo, el cual su única función será la de resaltar la atmósfera, espíritu y sentimiento de esa creación.
Danochilango ha compartido el escenario con artistas como: Celso Piña, Shantel, El Hijo de la Cumbia, Che Sudaka, Panteón Rococó, Copia Doble Systema, Daniel Haaksman, Bomba Estéreo y Systema Solar por mencionar algunos.
Mambe & Danochilango comenzaron su proyecto juntos cuando el “Rey del Acordeón” Celso Piña se presentó en concierto en Copenhague en mayo del 2014, y para esa ocasión decidieron unir fuerzas y crearon varias canciones, de ahí surgió el EP que nos están presentando ahora.
