The only thing that disappoints me about Tumblelog is that gifs aren't animated. :(

This looks overly complicated to make... (Too bad they're made out of plastic)
Yes.
The wonderful people at BGR have gotten a sweet little nugget of information on Googles next Nexus device possibly the Nexus 4G! The phone that will run the latest version of Android (4.0) aka Ice Cream Sandwich will sport a “monster-size” screen, next gen dual core processor either 1.2 or 1.5 GHz, 4G LTE ready, a thin case, and a the standard front buttons will be intergrated into the software (more usable screen)

Nice. Though I was really hoping for some quad core kal-el or TI OMAP 4400 series action, but perhaps that'll be the Nexus 4. Also these names are going to start getting very confusing. We have the Nexus, the Nexus S, the Nexus S 4G, and now the Nexus 4G and possibly later the Nexus 4? A little bit of redundancy never hurt anyone, but this is crazy...
This is what I call a win for the 2nd Gen Nook community.
I might get a nook touch, i didn't realize they were so cheap. Downloading textbooks will save me thousands i bet.Whats the dev community like? Same as the nook color?btw, if you want 3G in your e-reader, you must have money to burn.
So far as I know the Nook Touch dev community is almost nonexistent. However as more people get them it'll probably be hosted by the Nook Devs portal. As for the 3G, I was more referring to a perfect android tablet, but considering people don't particularly seem willing to put e-ink screens in their tablets, I'll stick to whatever name has features I want. :)

Pretty much. Still happy to be an Android user.
Nook Touch
I just ordered a new nook touch. From playing with it in the store, I'm pretty sure this $139 device will be a hacker's dream. Not only is it inexpensive, it's already loaded with Android, been rooted, and has a wonderful e-ink screen preventing your eyes from hurting even after hours of staring at the screen trying to figure out what's wrong. Oh, did I mention it's battery lasts for a couple months? Reminds me of my 1st BlackBerry... :D
Anywho, I intend to hack away on it (and read on it, I mean it IS an e-reader after all), and my 1st task is to get the google framework apps up and running on it and hopefully a nice non crashy-crashy browser. A full Android tablet that can't hurt my eyes, fits in my cargo pants, weighs the better part of nothing, and lasts for months on a charge. Dream come true? Not quite, it doesn't have 3G/4G, audio, video, or a webcam, but it's getting there. Just wait till those shiny Mirasol color e-ink displays reach market saturation(excuse the pun) though, that'll be the day.
I think so.

Arduino with iPhone via Ciao
I’m a little focused on Android here but it’s nice to see some clever developers have been able to get control of their Arduino’s through an iPhone.
The new iOS app called Ciao just hit the app store. It uses Apple’s bonjour network protocol to locate any ciao enabled arduino on the network.
Included are some simple sketches that use the ethernet library to make this happen so you’ll need the appropriate Arduino ethernet shields.
When iPhone sensor data is added as output options we may have the start of an Android ADK competitor over on iOS.
blogzy: Did You Know Microsoft Makes Five Times More Money From Android than From Windows Phone? That’s um.. Funny actually. Shows how few handsets they can actually push out the door right now.
This is fantastic.

If my grandmother had the motor controls to operate a mouse, then I'm sure she could wrap her mind around it.. Maybe.

So true...
Meet the next Nexus!
extremereviews:
The third member of the Nexus family has been spotted in it’s testing stage. It does not have any buttons on the face. This will most likely run on Ice Cream Sandwich and rumor has it that the next Nexus will be made by either LG or HTC. Stay tuned!
If this is real, I'm intrigued.
