The best part of going to the audio tech warehouse on my school trip was using the trackball on the keyboard that pulls out from under the Digico desks and feeling like I'm on board the Hail Mary
Just animatedly described all of the twenty one pilots album covers to my mother instead y'know showing her them because well
Wake up babe, it's Trench time
Okay first impressions:
I really like the heavy opening, but also the lyrics in the softer section are very interesting, like who is holding you by the throat my guy? (Jumpsuit)
Levitating perhaps a metaphor for disassociation... perhaps
Oh hello Nico
I rlly like the ones and zeros part (Morph)
Hmmm I wonder if Tyler feels kinda cornered and trapped rn idk maybe the overwhelming success is doing something to him idk just a thought /s
"I'll jump right in, and pull my pin" did get me I will admit (My Blood)
Not a big fan of Smithereens I'll be real
Neon Gravestones is the evilest song I've ever heard (in a good way, not in an I disagree way) it also stood out to me at first because of the interesting drum part at the start. I didn't cry but I like was close and that's wild
The Hype is groovy as hell, idk what's going on tho
East is up!
Idk if this has anything to do with it but "I'm lighter when I'm lower, I'm higher when I'm heavy" makes think of buoyancy at different depths of water (Nico and the Niners)
Loving the synthy swells in Cut My Lip and "Lean on my pride, I'm a lion" is very cutesy
Of course I expected the "Sahlo Folina" to appear at some point but I had no idea that that whole section was in Bandito (working my way backwards so I heard Overcompensate first)
Okay what the fuck are we talking about, I get that the titular Pet Cheetah is probably a metaphor but like I fear that doesn't stop it being cringe
Lotta fun layering in Leave the City, I feel like I'll grow more fond of it over time, it's got some really good lyrics and dynamics
Over all I like it and I'm probably only going to like it more lets be real. I think the vulture as a symbol is really strong as a looming portent of death and also a malevolent spectator.
Wake up babe, it's Trench time
Listening to tøp makes me think I've never really enjoyed anything in my life before
once again finding reference pictures for Josh is so difficult I keep getting distracted by his big beautiful nose and his huge boobs and radiant smile KNOCK IT OFFFFF
You know it's bad when I have to repeat "you are a person" to myself while lying in bed at night
Feeling vaguely unfulfilled and thinking how can this be? I've done so many good things and lived a balanced life today and then remembering: I have't listened to to any TØP
i need you all to know that the sequel to heated rivalry has the eight dogs argument from the yard premo 112
SO GLAD someone else has pointed this out
I know nothing about the yard but I just read this bit and with all the previous stuff it's so cute rahhhh
What if you are the big fish that I'm frying
If no one has has made an edit of Jax TADC and the song Tally they definitely should
Damn, I could have sworn there was a molehill just here... this is clearly a mountain
"It's not like a magnet on your fridge goes to the north pole" - Kea
Imagining my band breaking up over 'creative differences' and it's because I like twenty one pilots
I think the fact that I just spilled like 100 tiny beads on the floor and didn't start crying because I feel incompetent is a big step for me
SCALED AND ICY TIME!!!!
First thoughts:
Good Days kinda sounds like a opening to a musical we're setting the scene perhaps
"just like an I love you that isn't words, like a song he wrote that isn't heard" very relatable (Shy Away)
I like the imagery in The Outside
Saturday is VERY VIBEY
I've definitely heard Mulberry Street before
Am I delusional or is there harp in Bounce Man???
The line "make my people make decisions" makes me imagine these characters as fantasy monarchs judging the state of their castle chambers (Redecorate)
